You can stop your search here! The cirriculum is astounding, the staff is caring and the owner is phenomenally supportive to staff, kids and families. We have been tremendously pleased with all our child has learned since coming to this Goddard school in Westerville. I have no worries about his day when there. He looks forward to it on the weekends and hates to leave when the day is over. Thank you, Goddard! more

New owner-no child care background 9/3/2013

New owner as of 7/2013; no background in child care and doesn't know how to handle parent concerns. \r \r My 20 month old began biting in the classroom (common behavior in toddlers). He bit several children on a Friday, received no incident reports until Monday morning. Tuesday received an email from the owner suggesting my toddler wear a teething necklace (those are for mom to wear--not the child--strangling issue)! Wednesday was asked to pick him up from daycare because he bit 2 children and would be asked to pick-up every time he bit. I immediately found new care. 2 other Gooddard locations and corporate both agreed this was not handled correctly.\r \r They are operating at 1:6 ratio and shuffle kids between classes to make it. more

Please think twice 3/1/2012

With a little over 5 months of experience from working at this location, it feels safe to say that this might be the most unprofessional center in my overall work experience. I was floored many times with their lack of attention or care given to crucial issues happening in the classroom. They seem to hire just about anyone looking for a job, experience or no experience. Directors make you feel as they are attentive to what issues need to be addressed, but yet do absolutely nothing concerning it. This happened countless times. Most of the directors would rather facebook, socialize with others, run errands, and do whatever is best in their own interest. Please mommies and daddies, think twice before spending the money to send your child to this day care center. Your children mean the world to you, I know that. Please send them to a school where it is actually being ran like a school. Thank you. more

LOVE THIS DAYCARE! 4/16/2011

My 2 year old daughter has been attending The Goddard School for about 4 months and WE LOVE IT! \r \r She's attended two other daycare settings and I was always so sad to leave her because she was upset when I dropped her off and when I picked her up. Not here, she LOVES IT! Sometimes she doesn't want to leave at the end of the day because she is having so much fun!\r \r It's a loving, friendly environment and the parents are kept informed about the kid?s daily activities. Pictures are posted of the kids on facebook and there are always special activities planned. My daughter has learned so much during the last 4 months~ it's just amazing~ thanks to The Goddard School curriculum. \r \r I would recommend This Goddard School to all my friends. more

So Thankful for Goddard School! 4/12/2011

I like any parent worried about where my child would fit in. I had such a high list of expectations when I set out looking for preschools for my son. I wanted him to be comfortable, safe and in an environment that would not just engage in play but really teach as well. Just as I thought no school would meet those expectations I found The Goddard School. Mr. Jeff, Coleen and Val are organized, so kind and understanding. Miss Megan is an absolute joy with the kids and makes learning exciting! My son is excited to get up and go in the morning; and tell me all the new things he has learned in the afternoon. Best decision I've ever made! more

Peace of mind 4/12/2011

I too did my homework when it came to daycare. We traveled to many sites and saw many things. It is not an easy thing to drop your child off with others, but my daughter's time at Goddard has been absolutely wonderful. Ms. Holly loves my daughter and makes her (and me) feel special. There are so many like her there. The entire staff has welcomed me and loved my daughter, and that makes it so that I can do my job during the day without worry. There is a personal touch to what they do. Coleen and Val and the rest of the staff care about my daughter's well-being and show it. When my daughter was sick, they even called to see how she was doing because they missed her. They are very transparent when it comes to communication as well. I know everything that happens with her every day. They are very open and honest. I will be changing jobs, but will remain at this Goddard because of the staff there. It is my daughter's second home. more

I LOVE this daycare and would not take my baby anywhere else. They are attentive to your child, as well as knowledgeable. I search long and hard for the the last 15 months I could not have been more satisfied with my choice. more

My kids are happy. 4/11/2011

Our family has had a wonderful experience with The Goddard School on Executive Parkway in Westerville. As a first time mom, I found decisions related to child care to be some of the most overwhelming. We visited a number of programs and I even left a few in tears. When we entered the doors of what would become our Goddard school, it felt different. The rooms were warm, clean and interesting. The staff was friendly and took the time to talk to me about how they spent their days and answered all of my questions. The children were learning, having fun, communicating their needs and being listened to. It felt open and safe. We decided to give it a try, and now, two years later, our second child is enjoying her days at Goddard too. Coleen, Val and the staff at Goddard listen and they care. That means the world to me. more

BEST DECISION EVER!!!!!!!! 4/11/2011

Attention all you Dateline and 20/20 viewers who have been so scared by day care stories. Well I was one of those crazy viewers who went looking at day cares before my son was born and did all of my homework. After going to MANY facilities in the entire Columbus area The Goddard School-Westerville was BAR NONE the best I've seen and experienced. By experience I mean the feeling that you get from walking in the 1st time and knowing these people really care for children and take pride in a job well done! Three years later I have referred them to countless families who was in my boat....all of them with children at Goddard and happy as clams! The teachers and staff love my son and he LOVES them, you can't put a price tag on that. The facility is always clean, full of life, laughter and love. And after all of the grueling questions I have put them through as a new mom they still do so with a smile....LOVE this place!! more

by Texas Mama 01/14/2011\r We are so thankful to have found a great school for Carlie! We must have contacted 20+ daycares before making our decision and I must say, we made the best choice! There is even a Goddard School steps from our office but we chose to drive further because of the level of service we have received and the wonderful staff. Ms. Holly has been extremely helpful as well as all the other employees we have met thus far. As a new mom, going back to work can be difficult. Special thanks to your team for making this transition much easier...we know Carlie is in good hands! As a recruiter, I know having wonderful team members is a good indication of great leadership/ownership. Thanks so much to each of you along with Holly, Janet and everyone else for everything you do each day! more

This school is EXCELLENT!!! Both of my children attend this Goddard School location and they love it. It makes my work day easier, knowing my kids are in the best of hands. They have learned so much including sign language and Spanish. The entire staff at this Goddard School works extremely hard to ensure each child has a wonderful experience. The teachers, directors, and owners are very involved with all of the children. They are also very professional and organized. I cannot say enough great things about this school. My son started school a few months ago and loves it! He didn't have any transition problems. Everyone at the school pitches in to make the children feel comfortable and safe. He has learned so much in a short time and his behavior/attention span has increased no matter where we are. I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend this school. more

This school is EXCELLENT!!! Both of my children attend this Goddard School location and they love it. It makes my work day easier, knowing my kids are in the best of hands. Very Happy 11/30/2010

I made my husband tour every school from here to Dublin. What I liked most about this particular Goddard was the fact that it was family owned. The director raves over her employees and it is all true. I know that my child has had 3 teachers who have all been there 6 years. Right now my child had Ms. Pam and I there are not enough great adjectives to describe her. We have been blessed and I love when I am right! Right honey? more

Best Goddard In Town 11/30/2010

From the moment you walk into the building you feel at home. The front entry area is clean and very secure. The staff greets you with a smile and how can I help you. The school is very cheery and full of great teachers. The kids come up to the owners Jeff and Sandy to give them hugs. I was nervous to go to work and leave my kids with someone other than family. However, this school IS family. The teachers babysit and truthfully love their jobs. I tell everyone I know about this school! Thank you Goddard. more

Wonderful Center & Staff 1/15/2008

My family has nothing but wonderful things to say about the center and staff. The staff is very caring and accommodating to my children. We really enjoy the special sign language and Spanish classes available to my 5 year old. I would definitely recommend this center to anyone. more
