Segway FUN 3/21/2011

We had a great time on the Segway Tour. The State Captiol, Downtown Skyline, and Old-Timey History was all nice... But the Segway itself is the reason we went, and the reason I will be going back in the future. With adequate teaching from our guide, I felt safe and confident on the machine. They spent time with each person on the tour to make sure they felt good before we left. There were bags on each Segway to store water, cameras, purses, etc... Our tour guide was fun and relaxed, but I could tell by his eye movements that he was also concerned with the safety of the tour. We even had a drink at the nice bar inside the Holiday Inn when we got back. (The tours are ran from the Holiday Inn). PS: There was a special on the website for a free flash drive with all pictures and videos of the tour on it! Mention it when you book. more

Best Segway Tour Ever! 3/21/2011

I took a tour with these guys and had so much fun. I am a local here in Austin and love to do different things around town. This topped the list! We had great trainers who taught us how to ride the Segway and then our tour guides were very knowledgeable and exciting when they showed us around! Too much fun can't wait to go back! I even got an Explore Austin Texas card that gets me buy one get one free Segway Tours and kayak and bike rentals. The card never expires and was really cheap for what you get. I am very pleased and will be sending everyone I know there. more

Fabulous fun on two wheels. 3/21/2011

I love Gliding Revolution's Segway rides! I've taken my friends, my family members, and even clients on their tours which are as interesting as much for the tour as they are for the amazing two-wheeled segway ride itself. The experience is always a blast as even my 82 year old relatives find they enjoy the rides so much they don't want to stop. Gliding Revolution has been my Segway provider for five years now and I love their friendly guides and creative tours. They always accommodate my requests - even the last minute reservations. The two-wheeled wonders are so much fun you'll want to go back soon. I certainly do. more

The best tour ever! 5/22/2008

I'm a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines, so it's an understatement to say that I travel a lot. I've toured many cities by foot, bus & even horseback, but I've never toured by segway. I'm not the most graceful person but after about 5 minutes of training i was a professional rider! The staff was so helpful with making sure i was driving safely. Tori was my tour guide & she was absolutely awesome. She had a great sense of humor combined with an impeccable eye for safety, which is good since I'm so clumsy. I went on the city tour, I have to say it was the most informative and fun tour I've ever been on. The tour offered much more information than i could have read online. I can't wait to come back to Austin so i can get all my co-workers to try it out. I would highly recommend Gliding Revolution tours to anyone who is looking to have fun & learn about Austin. Pros: Location, price, information, FUN!! more
