To the above reviewer, UrbanAsia, when a restaurant is empty that is first clue it is not good. They give away 10% off coupons and free chocolate bars so this is the second clue. ...

To the above reviewer, UrbanAsia, when a restaurant is empty that is first clue it is not good. They give away 10% off coupons and free chocolate bars so this is the second clue. Try the free chocolate and you have to agree a Hershey bar tastes better. And I do not like the ambiance: too much empty square footage, too many employees standing around with nothing to do, bright lights, confusing set up and I don't know where to order. Pros: They sell real ice cream instead of frozen yogurt. Cons: expensive more

good brownie sundae 8/16/2006

went there for dessert after lunch. the waiter was very friendly but the place seemed very empty. was offered complimentary chocolate when we walked in....really good. ordered the miniature brownie sundae and it was really good. it wasn't too big nor to small for dessert. the price was just right and they give you a 10% off coupon for your next visit. would recommend to my friends. Pros: brownie sundae Cons: nothing that i can think of more

Worst place for when you want JUST icecream. 6/5/2006

I went in to Ghirardelli one afternoon on a Saturday only wanting a sundae. As soon as we entered- waiters tried a bit too hard to get us to sit at a table. There are no signs as to how the system works so the first counter we saw we tried to order and and the staff was very un helpful and rude. We asked for a sundae with no peanuts and they still added them. When we asked for it to be changed the lady looked at us like we were crazy. Oh and it's like the smallest $10 sundae you could ever ask for. Pros: Location Cons: Expensive, Bad Service, Ambience more
