We both really enjoyed our massages at Genesis Day Spa. The location is fantastic and the new owners give great massages. We found the staff courteous and well trained on listening to the massage we wanted - not the massage they wanted to give us. more

The positive reviews of Genesis are all old and for the previous ownership. The new owner's who just took over in May 2012 are nice, but I have had a number of massages there and have not found a great massage therapist yet. The prices have gone up and the new owners are not honoring previously purchased gift certificates that were bought on line. That means that those of us who bought gift certificates for family and friends last Christmas for use this summer, are loosing out on those purchases. Several weeks back a family member had a manicure at Genesis that took 3 hours and she had to go back the next day to get polish repaired as it chipped off. I would not recommend Genesis any more to anyone I know. more

Great spa - my girlfriends and I have been visiting for the past few years on our annual grils weekend away. The staff is friendly and the whole experience is wonderful and relaxing! more

wow, what a gem 11/3/2005

I recently spent a weekend in Ogunquit Maine and stumbled upon Genesis Day Spa. It's in the lower level of what used to be achurch. It is bright and sunny and so is the staff. I was greeted warmly and made to feel quite at home. My friend and I weren't sure of parking and parked about a mile away and walked. When we were ready to leave after a fabulous massage it had started to rain and turned very shilly. Not to worry, the owner actually gave us a ride to our car. Who else does that? What a great place. Pros: quiet, relaxing, comfortable Cons: difficult to find more
