I've been driving by Gary's business for years and always could find something that turned my head. What took me so long to stop I don't really know. Maybe I thought judging by the relatively small inventory and great looking classy cars that they were out of a realistic price range. NOT! I spotted a dark blue metallic Mercedes CLK 500 with white leather that knocked my socks off. I did some research on the price for this one owner low mileage beauty and not only was it reasonable but thousands less than a Mercedes dealer would slap on. I got what I consider almost a retail allowance for my 1990 white corvette with red leather convertible with 60K. We literally reached a deal in minutes. Gary doesn't need to run to the back room to get the deal approved. How great is that?! I already consider Gary a friend and look forward to his $65 an hour service rate instead of the dreaded dealer ripoff. Keep your eye open for his upcoming website then shop for that Mercedes, BMW, Porsche or exotic beauty from your home. I purchased a Volvo Brick from Gary. If you are looking for a resonably price foreign car - look no further. Gary is friendly, honest, and passionate towards foreign cars, and his service is awesome. My Volvo is used mostly as a winter car and after sitting all winter long the battery was drained; I was able to "jump it" and the radio needed to be reset. I was driving by Gary's place of business and decided to stop in to tell him of the problem. He called Volvo to get the code to reset the radio - he was on his lunch break - and did not charge me a thing. The coolest thing is that Volvo knew him on a first name basis when he called to get the nformation needed to reset the radio. As a business owner I appreciate personalized service and reasonable rates... but what strikes you about Phillips shop is the "personality"... no boring vehicles on the lot (i.e. Taurus, Camry, etc...). His service rates are absolutely awesome, and the work hes done for myself and my family is above par. Taking your BMW or other import to the dealer is an exercise in cash mismanagement, and unless you wipe your hiney with $20 bills, choosing another shop for routine maintenance and repairs large and small is just straight up dumb. Knowledgeable, inspired, friendly, and happy are words I would use to describe Phillips. Dont waste money anymore.... I guarantee you will save 30% percent over dealer costs immediately. Overall a very very very positive experience, and in todays world, those are rare. A dedicated Porschephile, lover of german vehicles, and honest businessman....
