A taste Of Italy in Springfield 4/28/2006

After touring the State Capitol Building and driving all the way from Chicago we were hungry and thirsty. We decided to give this Italian restaurant a try and I am glad we did. The food is very authentic and so is the atmosphere. The prices were reasonable also which is always a plus. They are welcoming and make you feel comfortable, I appreciated this. If you visit the Capitol building this summer and I suggest you do, give these guys a try if you like Italian food. more

Consistently great pizza. Joe's Special. 9/9/2005

My husband and I enjoy Gallina's Pizza so much we had our wedding rehearsal dinner there. This place is made up of two rooms (one smoking and one non). The owners and cooks are actually from Sicily. The sandwiches are very good, but I love the pizza I usually don't venture further than the Joe's Special. They also serve beer and limited other alcoholic drinks. Great place for any age or any size group. Their delivery guy was voted best in town. more
