I was contacted by Future Vision on a Wednesday. ""James"" stated they installed my system in 2001 and wanted to know what they could do to upgrade me. I told him we have 2 HD tv's with regular receivers. He said he could do HD receivers with DVR. He then asked if I needed any more receivers. I said we had 3 children's bedrooms with tv's and asked if it was possible to put receivers on them. He said it wouldn't be a problem. After a few minutes of him figuring things out, he assured me it was possible and would cost $150. When I asked how he could do it so cheap, ""James"" told me because they are independant retailers. I had diifferent installation date/times and equipment going from $150 to over $400, then down to $199 then another $50 for the cable (still don't understand that). I asked to speak to the owner or asked how I could contact him. I was denied. When I told the manager I was going to speak to a lawyer about the legality of what they were doing, she started yelling at me, cancelled my installation and told me to call Direct TV. I then called Dish Network to report them. The Dish Network customer service rep was very nice, took my complaint and helped me get the equipment I needed for the original price agreed on.
Cons: customer service, reliability, honesty
