Fry's Electronics 3/24/2006

Fry's is quite out of the way if you live anywhere central or south. But, some of their deals are worth the gas, specially if they're big ticket items. They have good deals on appliances, computer equipment and TV's, but stick to your regular Best Buy or Target ads to look for specials on movies. They have about the same prices. They also always advertise on the local Statesman, so you can always know what exactly will be on sale. more

I dread ever having to set foot in this place again 3/17/2006

Fry's is one of those products of out "bigger is better" cultural ethos. Lies! All lies! Bigger is not better! It is true that a Fry's store contains a mind bogglingly wide range of products, but the nightmare of navigating through the store to find your item or winding your way down the "aisle-of-pain" at the checkout is enough to keep me buying electronics on NewEgg and just having it shipped to me. Blahh! more

The Cabela's of Electronics 11/28/2005

The thing I like about Fry's is they have everything. If you want to build a computer or anything electronic you can find it there. They have a large selection of software and books. They price match and generally have good prices anyway. The staff is pretty knowledgeable. more

Everything I love in one great place! 8/25/2005

I could spend hours looking at everything Fry's has to offer. They have it all, from computers to home appliances, and my personal favorites, video games. Prices are competitive with other electronics stores. Plenty of room down the aisles and the employees are friendly and helpful! Great shopping experience. more
