I ordered one of their supposedly "world famous burgers" today. It was served to me with one slice of Texas Toast and one soggy heel of white bread. They were out of buns but failed to tell me when I placed my order. I took the soggy heel to the counter and asked for another slice of toast or a bun for my sandwich. I was told they were out of buns and bread. So I ate only a hamburger patty for lunch. I asked the waitress to discount my lunch to the price of a hamburger patty. She left to ask the owner what to do... came back and marked the burger as "no charge" on the ticket then came back again & said she misunderstood the owner. The owner of The Frontier Diner discounted my meal by $1.00. My suggestion to you is if your food is served in error send it all back to the kitchen or you will pay over $5.00 for a single hamburger patty like I did. She was rude!!!!!! I paid for it but will never return. Wonder what I would be charged if I ordered a hamburger without meat.... I am sure it would be more than $1.00
