All the counselors at Free Abortion Alternatives & Pregnancy Services in the Bronx were very very nice and helpful. I live close to two locations. I was so impressed with how nice and welcoming the counselors were to me. I’m very appreciative. They gave me great information about my options to abortion and really good parenting information. It made me think more and now I feel like a weight has been lifted! I love that its a free service and a place to turn when facing an unexpected pregnancy. I stumbled upon Free Abortion Alternatives & Pregnancy Services of the Bronx on Google and its a huge blessing. Way better than planned parenthood staff who arent always friendly and think that everyone that seeks their service are irresponsible teenagers who want birth control, abortion, or std testing. This place was very friendly, non judgmental, and very helpful. I didnt ask for pregnancy counseling but they invited me to a room and tried to talk to me anyway. Made sure the father was involved and asked me about my plans and everything. My first counselor was a younger woman and she was non-pressuring and nice. The pregnancy tests and ultrasounds were free, they gave me free prenatal vitamins and referred me to an ob gyn. The receptionists are nice, also the nurses, and they let my boyfriend come inside the ultrasound room so he could also see the baby...that part was so awesome! more

I am 19 years old and needed a place that would help me and guide me with abortion information and pregnancy options. The last time I had went to Planned Parenthood to get my abortion.  I really didn’t want to do it but my boyfriend was forcing me.  He is very abusive.  Having an abortion hurt me even more but I couldn’t leave him.  Talking with Julie at Free Abortion Alternatives & Pregnancy Services helped me so much. I’m so greatful I didn’t go back to Planned Parenthood this time. more
