My wife was looking for a doctor for a while and ideally she wanted a female doctor. Well, that was pretty hard so she ended up finding this doctor who is male but it is about 5 min. from our house.. I called to ask if they were part of my insurance group and the people in the office couldn't tell me, even after I read all the info on the insurance card. No big deal...I ended up driving there to check out the place, show them my insurance card and set up the appt. I was happy to find out they had nurse practitioners (which I had not much knowledge of) who were female and that I could schedule an appt. for my wife with one of them. All was great and we were happy to have found someone. Until...I talked with my wife and we wanted to inquire if there was a later appt. because my wife gets paid by the hour and any time off is deducted. They told me there was one a week later..... but the time slot was not much different. So I told them that I'd talk it over with my wife and not to change it....just leave as is. I never called back because we decided she should just lose the hours and go to the original appt. Here's where it all changed. When my wife, so peaceful, happy and go lucky, showed up, they told her someone had called and rescheduled. She told the receptionist, or whatever they are, that it couldn't be. The lady was not nice at all and sternly told her that her computer said so and pretty much that was the end of that. My wife called me and told me, so I asked to speak with this lady. My wife got back on the phone and told me she said she didn't want to speak to me because there's nothing to talk about....WOWE!. I called the office directly and explained the situation and was hoping that, given the circumstances and an error on their side, they would accommodate my wife. She seemed not to acknowledge NOR CARE ABOUT IT and they didn't care that we would lose a day's work. She said the schedules were air tight and she couldn't do anything about it. My wife said that while she was at the office, the one lady turned and asked another one in their staff if she had any recollection about this. The other lady, facing the other direction, just replied 'Nah' and shrugged her shoulders without any care in the world for my wife or even acknowledging her presence or hinting any desire to help. My wife kindly said she wasn't coming back but they just didn't seem to care. My wife sounded like she had tears in her eyes because she's very gentle and was pretty upset about this. I called again later to put a complaint, so they had me talk with the office manager. I explained the situation again nicely but when I told her we weren't going back there, she simply replied 'that's your prerogative sir, good luck' in a harsh tone. My wife and I think that they could've worked with us and talked to the dr., whom I don't think they ever informed of anything, and maybe see if they could accommodate us that day or scheduled in a way that was co
