Contracted Fortress Roofing in Sept. 2012 to remove approximately 1,068 sq. ft. of old roofing and replace with new GAF roofing and to install rain gutters. The job was completed in about 1 week in a thorough and professional manner with the service rep. Cory Cooper providing excellent service. Just recently in July 2013 we had some minor issues with the gutters and Joan Hutchings, Customer Relationship Manager for Fortress Roofing sent someone out immediately to address and fix the issues. With good customer service and follow up service (if needed), i would highly recommend Fortress Roofing. more

THEY DID A GREAT JOB ON MY ROOF. BUT THERE ROOFING SUPPLIER DAMAGE MY DRIVE WAY THEY CRUSTED MY CONCRETE. I HAVE CALLED MANY TIMES NO RESPONSE AND HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED,I WISHED I WOULD NOT HAVE PAID THEM IN FULL UNTILL THIS HAS BEEN FIXED, I HOPE THEY TAKE CARE OF THIS PROBLEM more

I lost half of my roof to a wind storm and someone gave me their name. They were very prompt in coming out and giving me an estimate. It seemed like they did good work and they came with high recommendations, so I tried them out and they did a good job. They did it in a timely manner and the quality seemed to be good. I've actually recommended them to a couple of other people now. more

They did a great job on the roof. The only problem we had was on the rain gutters, but they came out and fixed that and did it promptly. Other than that everything was great. more

They did a good job on the roof. They damaged my fence and never fixed them afterwards or compensated me. I have communicated with them over it and they sent somebody out and they worked on the fence, they just did not fix it like it was before they hit it. The gates don't work now so the animals can get out and it doesn't look the same. They are a great roofing company but the damage to the fence was repaired inadequately. I wish I wouldn't have paid them til the fence was repaired to my satisfaction. But as far as the roof goes, it looks great and works great. more

It was time to reroof the house and we took several bids on the job. The Fortress Roofing project manager was the one to come out and bid the job. He did an excellent job of explaining the materials and procedures that would be used by his crew. I was impressed, and agreed to the work. The work started and ended on time, the roof looks great and I am totally satisfied. The project manager even anticipated the one complaint I had and resolved it before I could even speak to him about it. (Some oil dripped all over the driveway and sidewalk by the materials delivery truck.) And except for the new roof, you would never know that they had been there. I would gladly recommend these people for any reroofing needs. more

My experience with Fortress Roofing was okay. One time they came to finish a job, one of the guys didn't show up so it took a bit longer to finish. Otherwise, there were no problems. The roof is doing well. more

I had a leaky roof and needed it replaced. I received several bids and went with Fortress Roofing. It was not the lowest bid, but they were the only company to actually take the time to come out. They went on the roof to examine it and talked to me about it. After examining the bids, I noticed that they also had better products and guarantees. It took longer than expected to complete the work because it snowed. Once the snow stopped, they showed up, tore off the old roof, and put the new roof on quickly. The roof no longer leaks and it obviously looks better than the previous roof. They left behind the leftover product in case we needed it in the future. Overall, I am very pleased with the work they did. The only thing that could have been better would have been to receive our final bill sooner. It took about a month to receive our final bill. more

In general the work itself was excellent--neat, clean, prompt, but there is still an outstanding small issue to be resolved which cannot be fixed until the weather is better. We are assuming that it will be resolved when the weather improves. BTW, there is no place for private feedback, the section of the form labeled "Private Feedback" notwithstanding. more

Fortress performed a complete tear-off of the 20-year-old leaking roof on our 2000 square foot home and replaced it with a new roof. They put drip edge around the perimeter and installed the code-required ice-and-water shielding at all the joints. They used higher-grade (30#) felt than was on the roof originally and installed ridge vents. We got 3 estimates for this job, and Fortress was actually the high bid. However, as we closely examined the bids we could see the reason for the higher price: better quality material than either of the other companies offered. Everything about our dealings with Fortress was highly professional. Of the 3 bidders, they were the only one to come and meet with us personally and the estimate involved actually getting on the roof and directly inspecting it. Once we accepted their bid and made a 50 down payment we were quickly put on schedule for about 10 days later. A major snowstorm delayed the work by a couple of days. I was expecting the storm to completely shut down roofing, and was amazed when I found it only delayed things by the amount of time the storm kept the crews off the roofs; even though we had about a foot of snow on the roof on the scheduled day, Fortress showed up with a crew and shoveled off the snow and started the tear-off. The whole job took about 3 days. The only thing that was slow was the time they took to invoice us for the final payment. The new roof looks great, does not leak, and comes with a guarantee. We are very happy with the whole process. I would certainly use Fortress again, but hope and believe I will never need to! more

your company was referred to me by a neighbor and when rob first came by for an estimate i knew i had called the right company. the men who performed the work were always on time and they seemed to have a good rapport. they completed the job on time (even with a day of rain) and rob was always available for me for questions and/or concerns. i truly felt your company cared about a job well done and went over and above to exceed my expectations. thank you fortress. i am very satisfied. please share this with your team as they deserve to be recognized. more

We had several people bid on the job and we selected Fortress Roofing. The guy that did the estimate seemed more confident in their abilities and more knowledgeable than the other guys. That's why I picked them. Fortress Roofing did an excellent job. They came when they said they would. They did what they said they would. I had some additional things beyond the scope of what we had originally discussed that would have been helpful to add. They came back and did those too.
