The only good reviews on this place are all from people with similar user names!!! ( Betty1175, Isabel1101, & Maria197000) This proves how stupid the owners are and how bad they are at managing a business. Why would anyone want to join a gym when the owners have to fake good reviews. This place just straight up SUCKS! I'm actually shocked to see they are still in business and was even more shocked when I see they have an overall 4 star review on this website! I have been a member at this facility for about 4 years. Why I reinstated a new membership I will never know. When I first joined the classes were Great! Then the owner Linda, who cant even pass a physical fitness test got rid of all the good instructors. There is one who is still there, I think his name is Steve, he teaches one of the best Cardio kick box classes I have ever taken. He can push you to the limit! The facility is clean and thats because nobody is there all the members left. The spin bikes are like Dinosaurs. I have repeatedly put comments in the suggestion box. But then I heard the owner reads them and laughs. She is never there! $19.99 membership where did that come from? mine was $65 and finally got it lowered to $48...I joined Lucille Roberts $23 a month CLASSES are OFF THE CHART. What a difference! When you have 6 people in a class and that would rather be on there cell phone and talk while the instructor is trying to teach, how RUDE andgo to a gym where there are about 80 women the energy level makes you want to work out! That's what its all about Linda. Oh and one other thing the staff keeps quitting because they hate the place but then they keep coming back. Stop embarrassing yourself! Find a better Facility! more

So glad that there is a place like this away from those giant shoe box gyms!!!! Wow was I lost inside but since I have been going to The Fitness Center the staff calls me by my first name which amazes me because I was just a number at my other gym and the staff is so service oriented. The pricing is a little higher than average but you get what you pay for. The classes are awesome and the personal trainers are really great also. The packages are super cheap. They have two different memberships now starting at $19.99 and that is very affordable. The gym is super clean and the equipment is good too! I love it!!! I definately give it two thumbs up!!!! more

I am soooo happy to be back at the Fitness Center. Where do I begin? First off I want to apologize for leaving and thinking that the ""big"" gym was going to be better. What a Nightmare!!!! Since being back i have that personal feeling with the staff that was lost at the big gym. The cleanliness of The Fitness Center is superior to the 10,000 member big gym. The staff is so sweeeet!!!! They actually take my coat and hang it for me!!! The gym has upgraded to with a new aerobic floor surface, New LCD TV's, and new weights. Also they have new management compared to the last regime they are fantastic. I love this place!!!! more

I like this gym a lot its barely crowded and its a great environment women around women??? what!!! its so calm...i made a lot of friends they have open houses every holiday and bring in vendors selve healthy food refreshments its a chill place...the machines are awsome actually they are for a womens body not body builder stats...well i always have access to their machines i sign up but its fair this everyone gets a turn not that its crowded and actually the person who recomended the gym down the block...WHAT???!! are you on!! my mini coop got stolen from there a young kid broke into the locker room for women and took my keys.. the lockers are cavinets with no locks...i hate it there the men stare at you till you finish with the machine and its very disturbing actually the front desk dosent even whatch for who walkis in theres barely machines and there always full...the pillow rest on the machines are ripped and old....and all the machines are mostly for upper body ...well i like it at the fitness center its worth paying for! The Fitness Center for Women has the shoddiest customer service and poorest business ethics. The classes are fair, but the service eclipses any positive experience I have ever had there. The manager and her assistant do not know how to speak professionally. Multiple times they have put me on hold (a record 10 minutes and for a place thats never a madhouse, thats pretty incredible) most likely hoping I would hang up. They have hung up on my fiance twice and refused to speak with him. When asked to be put on three way, they hung up once more. The conflict involved billing and how there was a lack of notification that I was supposed to write a letter of cancellation when I wished to cancel EVEN THOUGH NO EFFORT WAS MADE TO TELL ME I WAS TO DO SO. They got another $55.64 out of me for never notifying me that my contract was ending and how I was to proceed with cancellation. I mentioned numerous times I wanted to cancel and they claim they told me I was to write a letter. Now, wouldn't you think if I was so mad, I would write a letter then and there? Incredible. Don't go there. There's a gym across the street or down the block. Cons: parking, class times, class offerings, customer service, not enough equipment, not open long enough more
