Firestone Complete Auto Care

I've used this Firestone for many of my car repairs for years and they have always been reliable. A couple of weeks ago I took my car in for a timing belt and water pump, among other things. When I got the car back it didn't sound right so I turned around and went back to Firestone. They put me in an Enterprise rental car at their expense and went back into the job. At lunchtime the next day I was able to pick up my car, working fine, with another $175 of work done at no charge to me even though the job required the replacement of additional parts. I trust all my automotive care and concerns to these guys. They do it all quickly and courteously. Oil changes, NY State inspections, repair, maintenance. If they can't do it (like body work) they recommend someone who can. They have even told me when *not* to spend the money to replace something. My window-wiper fluid tank/bottle was ruptured, and it would have cost over $100 just for the part. It's an old car, so Firestone suggested a work-around, free of charge. I know nothing about cars, and they never make me feel stupid or ignorant. You can usually get an appointment for anything within 24 hours and they take walk-ins, too. When I do have to wait, their waiting room has free coffee, cable TV, comfortable chairs, a copy of the local newspaper, and is impeccably clean and neat. My car is always ready at the promised time, and sometimes earlier. Competitive prices too. A great find!
