You would be surrounded by kids.Firehouse provides several board games (Scrabble, Battleship, etc.) Great place to enjoy coffee with kids...

Great coffee, decent food, excellent for kids 4/13/2012

Firehouse is easily the most kid-friendly coffee shop in the downtown Ballard area. It has a big and extremely well-stocked play area full of toys and comfy seating for parents. The coffee is excellent, but while the pastries from Essential Baking are very good the breakfast sandwiches aren't really worth it. Overall a fantastic place! more

Great location, great coffee. Nice seating areas. Perfect for moms with Gymbboree next door attached to the building. Kids play. Parents sip. more
