I've been a customer of Fine Tuning Performance for a couple of years now. Chris and his staff have handled everything I've thrown at them brilliantly and efficiently; everything from routine tune-ups to troublesome little diagnostic problems (that other shops had failed to solve) to complete engine and drive train rebuilds. The technical knowledge and expertise and sheer, raw intelligence in this shop simply stands out from the rest of the VW/Audi shops! Couple that with an unfailingly dedicated determination to fix things - and fix them right - and you have an unbeatable combination. Prices are more than competitive with other local independent shops - and well below dealer prices. Chris stands behind his work 100% and on those rare occasions something gets missed, he addresses it promptly and without excuses or arguments. In response to the previous poster's comments about Fine Tuning Performance being unreliable, there was indeed a brief (fortunately) period where some of the staff were dropping the ball and not handling service requests and coordination well. Chris reacted quickly and fixed the problem completely. All aspects of Fine Tuning Performance service is now back up to their previous level of excellence! more

I have been a customer to Fine Tuning for 2 years. This has been with 2 different cars - and this shop has always been very thorough and honest. From oil changes to suspension, to head gaskets and exhaust systems, they have been pretty decent on prices and the work was top rate. I have no complaints with Fine Tuning - only great reviews on their customer service and their workmanship! Great Job Fine Tuning! I would recommend them to anyone! :) more

I think I finally found the Audi shop I was looking for in Seattle. Although a little far up the beaten path, they know the car well and don't charge an arm and a leg. A lot of their work is tuning and aftermarket upgrades, so they understand the inner workings of the car very well. I recently had my clutch pads replaced. The new clutch drives really well, it cost me substantially less than the dealership's quoted price (40%), and they identified a few other potential problems that were missed by other shops (I was able to determine that they are legitimate problems though). All in all, well worth the drive. more
