Constructed in mid '60s by a local investers patterned after Cypress Gardens in Florida. Daily activities included four ski shows and private functions. Private ownership lasted about five years and then returned to the city. The lagoon is about 40 feet deep with a large amount of sunken evidence of the Ski Team equipment. Many memories from those days. more

Most amazing place ever!!!!! 4/15/2008

This is the most amazing place ever. I went here for the LASA Coffeehouse, and nothing better could have happened. There were live performances from bands all over the place, and free food!!! $5 entry. This is my first post by the way. This place is as good as a club! Pros: Open space, elevated stage for bands Cons: PoisonOak outside of walls of park, no walking around except for on trails more
