I got a puppy from Brad, and Patty that is now 7 months old. She is a wonderful dog, couldn't ask for better. Healthy, good looking, and a real pleasure to be around. My Yellow Lab is now just about 5 years old and she has been a fantastic dog from day one. She has always had great temperment and is an excellent hunting dog for ducks, pheasant, quail (she started pointing in her 2nd season of hunting) and really obedient and compassionate. I love their whole operation and facilities!! more

Be sure to get the exact prices of what they charge before taking your pets here (even though I did this and I was still overcharged). Prior to taking my animals here, I visited the website, called to speak about what their facility had to offer and prices, along with visiting their facility. Well, I took my 2 pets here for one night and when I went to pick them up and pay my bill, it was $25 more than what they told me. The receptionist said that there were several other clients prior to me who were also misinformed of pricing and how they were not happy either. I spoke to the owner who said she'd refund me the difference via mail. It has been several months and still have yet to recieve it. I just want to be sure that this doesn't happen to others. As I found out, it has happened to others prior to me with seemingly no concern on the owners' part to remedy the mis-information that their employees were giving clients. I think the key here is that if places want to stay in business they should try to make an effort to keep their customers happy and admit when they are wrong, which in turn keeps the customers coming back. The lack of concern in regards to their customers says a lot about this business. They just don't seem to care. Very dissapointed....... more

I am taking our pure bred Yellow lab back to Field of Dreams for her 3rd 1 wk stay while we are on vctn. She gets excellent care, has her own "bedroom" ( with a real bed) & gets the proper exercise. FODreams is a top notch kennel. We'll be back again next yr. more

I purchased a black lab female pup in aug.of 2006,because I upland hunt i was looking for a leaner field type of dog.In the couple years I have now owned her,she has been exceptional! Great temperment,unbelievable hunter and zero health issues.I used this dog for guiding at game farm at 5mos.old,she has competed in many upland competitions,won Dog of the yr.at under 2yrs.old,and won and placed in top 5 in many others.I have had a number of dogs over the years,and this dog ranks rt.on top with one other I have owned.I have recommended this breeder to others,and will continue to do so.\r As far as a pup having giardia,this is a common parasite most dogs encounter its all over the place,and easily treated,I know this from my own expierence,this isn't a genetic defect or something like that.\r \r Field of dreams are good breeders with clean kennels,talk to them ask questions and see for yourself. more

Just bought a black lab puppy from this kennel on Monday night. The pup is your active normally pup but on the skinny side. No big deal or so we thought. Took the puppy home and by Wed afternoon we had to take the puppy to the vet for an emergency visit. He was pooping water and had stopped eating/drinking and would hardly move. After several hours and tests later it was determined that the pup had girardia. Called the kennel back a they confirmed that the kennel had had a pup from a different litter a week to two ago that had girardia. Our puppy was kept over night and isolated do to the fact the girardia is contagious. The vet confirmed that the puppy had been sick prior to us buying the puppy. Called to talk to the breeders about them selling a sick puppy and they were very unresponsive or caring. I will tell everyone and anyone that will listen, that this is not a reputable breeder and sells sick and infected animals. more
