Faulkner's Ranch

I visited Faulkner's for the first time this year with my 21-month old son and we had a great time. I loved watching his reaction to the live animals that he was able to feed and we had a great time in the maze. But his favorite activities were definitely the corn crib and hopping on the hay wagon for numerous fun rides. It was a super day! We will definitely go back and, hopefully, we can have a pony party for one of his birthdays. He was born in January and Faulkner's is one of the few places that provides an opportunity for a fun party in the middle of winter. more

Faulkner's Ranch is a guaranteed GREAT time for the family! Our first time on the Ranch was for my daughter's 2nd birthday party and it couldn't have been better. The staff were super easy to work with, super friendly, and definitely accommodating. It’s hard to find a great birthday experience for a February birthday and Faulkner's offered the BEST! We have been back a few time for different charity events and each time is a blast. My daughter just can't get enough of the animals and space to run (when the weather is nice). Faulkner's Ranch is top notch and I have recommended it to several people and will continue! Thank you, Faulkner's! more

We went to Faulkner's Pumpkin Patch for the first time this year and the kids had a blast! Many different activities for the younger kids made for a fun-filled afternoon of running around the farm trying everything out and then doing it all over again! Very clean facilities, super friendly staff and easy to get to from Johnson County. The selection of pumpkins and gourds for purchase was great, too. more

My daughter attended Pony Camp at Faulkner's Ranch this summer and it was by far her favorite week of the year! The staff were so great with the kids and she learned so much I was really impressed. Each day she came home with new knowledge of horse care and riding. We have already signed up for Pony Camp 2 next summer! She can't wait to go again! more

What an awesome adventure at Faulkner's Ranch 10/29. My grandson is 13 months old and there were just tons of things for him to do. He spent three hours just exploring till he was just wore out. Cheers to all the staff we met as the were all kind and asked if there was anything we needed. We are looking forward to returning again next year and visiting more than once. more

Last Year I discovered Faulkner's Pumpkin Farm in Lee's Summit, Missouri. It costs $5 per person and those under 2 years old are free. They have a petting zoo, hayrides, and a corn maze. This past weekend was Grandparent Appreciation Weekend and the grandparents were only $4 and they had different activities. They also have games on the weekends, not just for the children but also adults. Adults could participate in a contest where you carried a small pumpkin between your knees to the finish line, trying to win a carving pumpkin for your child. Kids can play on tractors, play scarecroquet, and do a bean bag toss. You can have lunch at the farm for a small fee. You can either order your hot dogs already roasted or you can roast your own over an open fire as well as make smore's. I can't wait to go again next year. more
