family dollar is the best 3/5/2012

Family dollar offers quality name brands at low prices. They also have there own brands which for the most part are good quality for even more saving. They have super cute clothing. The staff are freindly and helpfull. Everyting is not a dollar but with everything they carry from electonics to bed sets to do it yourself furnature you can't expect it to be all a dollar. They have a large selection of grocery and health and beauty items and a little bit of everything which make it easy to do all your shopping quickly at one stop. more

Everything is NOT a dollar 3/27/2006

Family Dollar stores have cheap stuff for cheap prices, but it is NOT a dollar store. Everything is priced separately as opposed to the typical dollar stores where everything actually IS a dollar. I would definitely skip family dollar and head to Big Lots, Target or WalMart for the same type of merchandise, at comparable prices with better quality! more
