This is a small family owned business. Mr Hafemeister is a very generous, kind business owner, he even worked with my budget when I was tight on funds. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and reliable. They always have my car ready to go in almost no time. They are also very particular about the products used. Nothing but the highest quality and study proven for better performance oils and fluids go into my vehicle. I will be a life time customer with this business and I highly recommend their service to anyone! more

I am a grandmother raising a 14 yr old grandson alone on disability. This year has been hard for us financially. My transmission went out on my truck (which is my only transportation to dr's office). I went online for affordable repair to get it fixed. A gentleman named Scott returned my call and explained they have a special for $300.00 off labor. He sent someone to pick up my truck (37 miles away) and told me they would return it at no cost. I told him of my situation and the fact that I have no money for my grandson for Christmas much less for repairs. We discussed the possibility of financing the repairs. Today I recieved a phone call from Jim telling me that the repairs will be a christmas gift to me as well as other repairs needed. He asked me for sizes my grandson wears so they can give him something to open for Christmas. They went way beyond what had to be done. They are mine and my grandsons Santa and have helped me to believe that angels do exist. Thank you Jim and Scott (and all at Family Auto Servises) for the Merry Christmas that would have otherwise been spent with worries and tears. As a single mom I always worry about somebody taking advantage of me. Especially when it comes to mechanical things. Well, that was one thing that I didn't have to worry about. I've taken two or three of my vehicles over there. My van broke down, I had it towed down there and called them, and within 2 hours they called me back and told me what was wrong with it and how much it would cost. They're a good company to do work with. more

Across the board, Family Auto and Transmission has knowledge, skills, everything. I was an ASE certified mechanic, but I'm not doing mechanic work anymore. I have a very large mistrust for mechanics because I saw their tendancy to be dishonest and take advantage of people. Family Auto goes above and beyond the call of duty to do what the customer needs. They are not selfish or anything like that. I have gone in several times to other chain mechanics. I bought a lifetime guaranteed alignment from one, and they said 3,800 dollars of work needs to be done on my front end. I went over to Family Auto and asked them to verify this. They said, you know, this could be a really simple fix for 120 dollars for something other than what the other company wanted to charge 3,800 dollars for. They said I had a worn out tire arm and all sorts of suspension issues; Family Auto showed me that this was not the case.I have even gone in expecting to have to drop several thousands of dollars for vehicle damage, and they turned around and said it will be much less. Other people were recommending 4-5k dollars of work on the computer, and Family Air went in and did it for much less. Everything perfect now. It works fine, with no problems. They give simple, honest solutions to everything. You go in there, they are professional, and you know they will work with you to solve problems. more
