FACE Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic

Great Great Great Place! Great Staff! I got my cat fixed there and took here there after 2 days to get a mini package(4 in1 & rabies). She also got a lil flu and didn't go potty for 2 days after the surgery. The vet gave her 2 extra shots to help her clean the runny nose & the one to help her go potty. They didn't charge me for the extra shots only the $24 mini package. (well usually is cost 100-300 to go to regular vet to get those 2 extra one) Also, they said I could come back there next day if my cat got no poo, just let them double check her. They care about us & the pets more than the price we pay for it. The only thing has to remind you guys is if you wanna get your pets fixed, it is pretty hard to call them to make an appointment (you may just go there and make the appointment rather than call them). And you have to except to wait more than an hour to get the service. But you know, if you wanna get the low cost vet care, you have to wait. (I don't mind waiting for the service coz they are just so great!!) * Also, don't act like a je_k, people complaining about waiting too long, well. . . .you know what you have to do. They do need more volunteer, just a few people working there so, be nice and don't act like a je_k people. Thanks FACE! Pros: Cheap Good staff more

This is a great clinic, and I would recomend it to anyone who has a pet, and wants to get it fixed.Due to dogs and cats wanting to go out and either dog it up, or cat it up, this is a good place to start to make your pet happier.So I recomend this clinic to everyone.They were so good to our cats,and did a good job on them. more

For those who don't have alot of money but want to be responsible pet owners, this is a great find. They care well for the pets that are brought to them and the fees are LOW! more

Face is the lowest place around to get your dog or cat spayed/neutered. They also have low cost shot clinics. It does usually take several weeks to get an appointment and usually you don't have much say as to what day your appointment will be on. The staff is friendly and available to help with any questions that you have. more

FACE offers low-cost spaying and neutering of dogs and cats, as well as initial vaccinations (rabies, distemper and leukemia) and flea control. It is a blessing for lower-income persons who want to be responsible pet owners and who have healthy pets needing these services. The clinic is located in what had been an industrial section of Indianapolis. Driving there in the dark at 6 am can be disturbing, to say the least. Massachusetts Avenue is lined on one side by razor-wire fencing surrounding existing businesses, and on the other side by elevated railroad tracks, the concrete walls of which are covered with gang graffiti. Unlike a regular veterinary clinic, FACE operates like a factory and does its surgeries en masse. Everyone with pets scheduled for surgery is expected to check in between 6:30 and 8 am; this makes for a crowded and chaotic waiting area, as there can be 20 - 30 dogs and cats at one time in the waiting room.
