Kevin was great! We came here because our normal place to purchase glasses no longer had frames within our budget and you accept VSP. Kevin was very understanding of our financial situation and was able to find frames for both me and my husband that we love. He gave us a lot information about lenses we didn't know (my husband needs bi-focals and is looking to purchase sunglasses next year) and spent plenty of time ensuring we found what we needed at a price we could afford. We will definitely be back! Thank you! more

Eye glass purchase 12/30/2011

The opticians at the Eye Care center were very helpful while I was choosing my new eyeglass frames. I got helpful advice and opinions. It took me a long time to decide and I never felt hurried. The optician working with me took the time to double check if I was covered under any special vision plan for a discounted price. A very positive experience. I'm glad to tell friends where I get my glasses. more

I had been bringing my family to The Eye Care Center for 20+ years for exams and eye wear. The glasses may be a bit more expensive than 'the chains', but I've never had a pair of glasses that I haven't been absolutely thrilled with for myself or the growing boys. Their guarantees are solid. They never try to 'sell' me anything, but let me know my options. My favorite is Dr. Alpers. He is very honest about whether he believes a new pair of glasses or contacts is necessary. He makes you feel like you matter and they want you to leave happy. I recommend The High Care Center highly. more

Great place to go 12/26/2011

I have been going to the Eye Care Centers for around 10 years. I love the staff, who are always friendly and helpful. I can usually get an appointment within a decent time frame, and once I get there I have never waited in the office for more than 5 minutes. Dr Richter has always been very helpful, also, and willing to take the time to answer questions. I appreciate that in a healthcare professional. And the staff at who help you get eyewear are also very professional. more

Our eyecare insurance is changing and the center will not be using the new provider, but Dr Richter assured me we would still be covered for all medical eye needs, but not for lens snd frame purchase. Thank you again. more

Will never go back. 12/17/2011

I was misdiagnosed for a year while my eye disease worsened. I shared all of my symptoms and was told repeatedly that I just had allergies. Found a different doctor who gave me the correct diagnosis and when I went back to the Eye Care Center, I was told 'Yes, we should have seen this.' So happy to have a chance to review. Too bad they don't update their Holiday mailing list. more
