Secure units, courteous staff 3/1/2013

Extra Space Place has been very courteous when we talk with them. We have been using their storage units for 3 years and they are very open to us changing units for easier access. I have had no security problems thus far, just fine with it! more

I like the overall experience. 2/7/2013

They are just great. I pay six months at a time upfront and they give me a free month to do that. I am allowed access 24/7 to the facility. The place is nice and clean and secure. more

Very good 1/31/2013

We're renting 2 units from Extra Space Place. They're both temperature controlled. One we've had for over a year, the other just for a few months. I like that they provide a truck for renters to move their things into the units. I only wish they would occasionally let us use it to move things out as well. There has been a couple time when the gate was not functioning and they left it open but it was never for very long. more

Extra Space Place was very friendly and kind. They got me in on a special rate that applied for three months. After that, the price got a little bit high per month, but they did a good job in explaining their policy and why that was. more

I've had two different storage spaces at Extra Space Place. They've always been friendly, cooperative, and willing to work with me. I asked for the ability to enter the property after normal hours, and they set it up so I have easy access. I was holding a boat in the storage unit, and they gave me the opportunity to work on it on my schedule instead of theirs. My son and I share a storage unit now, and we both have easy access whenever we want it. They're supportive, and I'm happy to recommend their services. more

Everything was good except for getting out. 12/5/2012

I submitted a termination of lease for my storage unit, and they didn't write it down. I gave 50 days notice actually, moved out, and they kept charging my card. It took six weeks for them to discover the unit was empty, even though there was no lock on the unit. Make sure you get your lease termination in writing. more

Initially very poor and now satisfactory 11/30/2012

My experience with Extra Space Place is satisfactory now but at first it was a real problem. At one point, someone backed into the side of my unit's door. I had no way of opening the door and they had no one to contact in case of an emergency. I thought they were poorly organized, but they reacted correctly when they became aware of the problem. more

There are a lot of bugs in there. We had some mattresses in Extra Space Place that we had to throw away. We chose them for the convenience, and we used them for about 2 years. more

The people at Extra Space Place have been very helpful. I have never had any problems with them. Actually, the only time I see them is when I go to pay my bill. The units are fine, I have no comments about them. more

A clean place 11/2/2012

My first experience with Extra Space Place was not too great. They did not set the password right and since there was no other exit or emergency phone number on the inside, we got stuck in there. My mom, who lives in the area, had to drive to the site and read out a phone number off their door for us. After calling the number, a man had me call a different number and someone was finally able to help us, but it was a scary experience. Every experience since then has been fine. more

Always willing to help! 10/26/2012

We've used Extra Space Place for about 2 years now. We first found them when we were looking for a storage place that was temperature controlled. We will continue to use them for as long as we need them! They have always been there for us, anytime we've needed help, they are more than willing to give it. For instance, we needed a truck, and it was a Sunday and they don't normally lend out the truck on Sundays. Well, she was there for us and stayed there until we were done. They are very, very helpful. We highly recommend them. Paul & Carol more

Fond of it. 10/25/2012

I don't have any real negative experiences with Extra Space Place, except that, and I know that probably all of these places have it this way, there was only one person in the office. So, when they are out at a unit, there is nobody in the office. They had two or three people waiting in the office, so it would be nice to probably have two people there so it's not empty when they're showing a unit, even though it might not be cost effective. I know that's not the nature of the beast between visiting other storage places in the past. that's just the way they are. If they're helping someone, you have to wait. But it's a nice facility. It's clean, well maintained, well lit, and I haven't had any problems accessing it. It's near our brand new home, so we're fond of it. more

A breath of fresh air. 10/9/2012

I am completely satisfied with Extra Space Place. I just rented a unit for a short period of time because I was moving out of my condo, and I had put my stuff in one spot while I sorted things out. They were friendly, nice, accommodating, and I liked their attitude. Especially one girl, I think her name was Theresa, she's wonderful. She would go the extra mile to try to help me. It was a nice experience, a real breath of fresh air having somebody who really wanted to help and answer questions. They do the little things like help me with the gate when I got stuck out. more

They are very nice and very accommodating 8/1/2012

I've been a customer of Extra Space Place for five years. They are conveniently located just down the street from me. Any time I've had a problem they have been really accommodating. Recently, my daughter was getting her things out of storage and she forgot to get the key back for me. I gave them a call and they were able to change out the lock for me so that I didn't have to go down there. I just went and picked up the key when I had time. more

Extra Space Place is a self storage facility and I've used them in two different locations. At present time I only have one space rented and I keep an extra car there. It's convenient and when I want to go get it I never have any problems. more

Super experience. 7/25/2012

I have recommended Extra Space Place to a lot of people. I'm happy with them, all the way. I'd say my experience with them has been super. I consider the people at the desk there kind of like family. They are just nice people. I wouldn't change a thing. I have a big storage unit and parking spaces with them, which I have been using for a number of years. Betty Berg more
