Not the best experience 9/13/2011

If you're a plus-sized bride, forget about this place. There is very little in the way of samples for large brides to try on. It's humiliating to have to stand in the dressing room looking at a size 8 being held up to your Rubenesque body while your entourage is sitting outside waiting to see you in a dress... ANY dress. The sales consultant was not very helpful and rather lackluster. I told her that I wanted ball gowns and a-lines and no mermaids. Yet, mermaids were pulled. There was no help or guidance as I and my daughter wandered through the stock pulling gowns. I finally found some plus-sized dresses and did find two that I liked but, again, customer service was lacking. The other sales women were too concerned with finding a lost earring to help their colleague find a gown for me. more

Horrible! Well..... Not so much 6/27/2011

Unorganized, rude, and I will never recommend these people. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO COMMUNICATION, and DOWNRIGHT HORRIBLE experience!! Stay Away!! The owner actually called me and was so sorry for what happned on this day that they are going above and beyond to make sure that the dress will be ready by the wedding date! I am soo excited and grateful to Exquisite Bride for helping to make my best friends wedding a success. more

Awesome Bridal Store! 4/26/2011

I am getting married in 2 wks and my experience for the past year and a half with the Murrysville store has been incredible! In particular, my consultant Mateya Vesely was absolutely fabulous and extremely knowledgable and professional from day one! I could not be more pleased with the service she provided me and my entire bridal party! Mateya found me and my bridesmaids the perfect dress right from the beginning -no hassles - her instincts and knwoledge as a bridal consultant are incredible! more

Best Experience by Far! 11/2/2010

After visiting several bridal boutiques, I came across Exquiste Bride in Murrysville and was surprised by the warmth I was welcomed with the moment I walked through the door. I was greeted at the front desk by some wonderful consultants who were all very willing to help me. The consultants were very helpful and knew their inventory. They not only let me look around at all the dresses, they also brought in dresses they thought would be perfect for me. Since my wedding is coming up very soon, I ended up buying a dress right off the floor which was in really great shape. They even gave me a discount towards my alterations. They got me an appointment with the seamstress right away and she was very flexible with my busy schedule and did excellent work. I picked up my dress today. YAYY I CANT WAIT TO WEAR IT! I would highly recommend this store, the consultants, and the seamstresses. more

STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! 8/24/2010

Absolute worst customer service AFTER you purchase the dress. My daughter waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged at the front counter while 3 employees worried about a bead on a dress going to the seamstress in 3 days. She waited 30 minutes for her alteration appt because no one let the seamstress know we were there. WHEN SHE WENT TO GET HER WEDDING DRESS ON FRIDAY FOR HER WEDDING ON SATURDAY, THEY COULDN'T FIND THE GOWN. Apparently it hadn't been steamed yet. Complete chaos. No organization. more

Less than impressed 7/28/2010

I unfortunately bought my wedding dress here. The customer service was great while shopping for my dress. Once the dress was paid for the customer service went out the window. Pros: Seamstress is a pro Cons: Unorganized, employees are mildly friendly/helplful at best more

I LUCKILY did not get my wedding dress here. I couldn't imagine working with this place with my own gown like I have with the bridesmaids and flower girls. Many complaints-- more

Great Experience 9/7/2008

I looked for "the dress" at several places. I found the Exquisite Bride's staff to be really nice and knowledgeable. I worked with a woman named Susan (the owner) and Nicki. They took lots of time with my mom and I. I didn't buy the first time because I wanted to bring my sister back with me and they were very patient. I never felt pressured to make a decision like at some other places. The store is very friendly. more

I visited several places looking for ""the dress"" and found the Exquisite Bride to be a very comfortable bridal shop with great customer service. No pressure to make a decision and the staff was very knowledgable about the dresses and was very helpful with suggestions. Pros: Very comfortable store and knowledgable staff - staff was eager to please Cons: Takes 25 minutes to get to from downtown Pittsburgh more

Horrible service! 5/31/2007

I expected a lot more from this upscale "bridal boutique". After my bridesmaids and I shelled out a couple $1000s, they never called to let us know when the dresses would be in like they said. Also, 2 days ago I received a phone call to see if anymore bridesmaids would be ordering dresses. They had previously written down 6 and only 3 had gone out to order their dresses. I said that 3 was all we had and to go ahead and order them. However, they called me today to tell me the dresses will not make it in time unless they rush ship them...and that will cost my girls an extra $40!!! If it wasn't too late, I would go somewhere else. I am definitely not getting my dress altered there. more
