Unfortunately, I've had lots of back problems, etc., which has led me to meet with lots of doctors and other related professionals. Because of that, I'm able to pretty quickly determine which doctors have genuine concern for you and will put in that extra effort to make you better.
Dr. Davis is one of those doctors that genuinely cares for the health and outcomes of his patients. I gathered that pretty quickly.
I actually live on the other side of the country but, from doing my research, learned that he was a really well-regarded chiropractor who treats patients with disc herniations, spondylolisthesis, etc. (things that I am dealing with). Further, I learned that he practices additional advanced techniques that you won't find everywhere. So, I decided to reach out to him to get direction from him on what treatments would be most effective for me.
Now, he really didn't have to do this but, he provided me with very detailed information on cutting-edge techniques that could help my condition, he took the time to find me additional links for further reading for additional research, etc., as well as guided me to potential doctors in my area (remember, I don't live in SF but reached out to him for help because he seemed to be the go-to guy and expert in this field).
I know he is a busy guy, but I really, really appreciated the genuine concern he showed in learning about my condition and providing me with guidance on approaches that would work for me, as well as offering to keep in touch with me to track my progress, although I lived on the other side of the country.
Because of him, I learned about techniques that I hadn't come across even in my extensive research and conversations with other chiropractors. He knows his stuff and is versed on the more modern, cutting edge techniques.
Again, no doubt that he is one of the most well-regarded experts in this field. However, I think the thing that makes him the most effective is that he seems to really, really care about the patient's outcomes - he really wants to see you get better. For me, thats the type of doctor who I want to go to, because thats the type of doctor thats going to 'fix' you.
