Servicing a 1999 Saturn 2/3/2014

Took it in for normal servicing with a request to look it over and check the brakes. I received a report on their survey results along with recommendations on the urgency of each item. I was very pleased with their concern for my pocket book and their thoroughness. more

Excellent Service and felt the price was fair and was given a AAA discount. Frank did not try to push additional services on to me as I have experience at other automotive repair shops. The usual auto service shop i used closed down after 15 years. So, I have been searching for a new place to take my vehicles to...Escondido Auto Tech is the new shop I will take my vehicles. They are very professional. more

Great work; outstanding customer interaction 1/31/2014

Brought a 2001 Tundra into EAT to have some long-overdue service done. My POC was Frank and from the first moment, he made it clear that they were interested in providing the best possible service without the typical added-on hogwash that so many auto maintenance companies do. My vehicle was serviced as required with Frank keeping me up to date on the status of the repairs. They appropriately identified additional repairs that needed to be done, fixed those that needed it and deferred those that didn't need fixing at that time. It was a pleasure taking my vehicle there. more

Fixed our Mission Impossible! 1/25/2014

EAT's extrordianly service technician dissected and conquered the impossible Smog! Turned out that during a recent radio heist, the violent thief cut some important wires that also fed the lifeblood energy to the ECM (computer stuff). Jim's crew found the issue and had our car smogged and back on the road same day! Bravo! more

The folks here were able to diagnose and fix a sneaky problem in one of my battery cables that was causing periodic engine start difficulty. What a relief! more

Through 1/23/2014

We took the vehicle to EAT before purchasing it for our daughter. The did a complete and through inspection and found things that we had not even thought of. Frank took the time to explain everything to me and was very helpful. Great and honest place to take your car!!! more

Honest and Reliable 1/23/2014

I feel that when I take my car it is in good hands and they are taking care of the problem and not drumming up more. And if there is a concern not relayed to my repair I actually trust them with the information given to me that it's important not a moneymaking repair. EAT has always been punctual, kind and curteous. Nice to know I have a place to take my car that I am comfortable with. more

Fair, fast and honest 1/13/2014

The staff at EAT is always polite, helpful and caring. They never replace a part that doesnt need replaced. They seem to be more concerned with SAVING me money than with TAKING my money. I will never take any of my vehicles anywhere else. more

smog check 1/8/2014

While this service visit was just for a mandatory registration smog check, I found the service efficient and the charges fair. As I once mentioned before, EAT has always had integrity, and fair prices. If you are nervous about a new mechanic shop, you don't have to be with this establishment. Over two decades of work on various cars, I'm still coming back. Thanks Jim, Frank, and crew. Pete. more

First time taking any of my cars to them. Called about smog check for our mustang got a quote, took the car in they did the work. No big deal? They asked if they could have future business from us. What a concept. more
