DO NOT BUY THIS CRUISE. If you want a romantic, classy evening, you are going to be terribly disappointed. Do not ruin your special evening by going on this cruise. Until this company changes the experience, this is what you will get: 1. Horrible-tasting food. I did not eat anything. I poked around trying to find something that tasted ok, yet was just grossed out by the taste and smell and look and ended up hungry. The dessert was terrible as well. 2. Terribly over-priced drinks. For a cheap beer and a ""signature drink"" which did not taste very good, it was $19.50. They do not tell you the prices. 3. A dirty ship. Our window sill had debris and dead insects on it. The ship smelled bad (not because of the water). 4. HORRIBLE music. Unless you want to dance to ""shake your ---"" and disgusting top rap hits, do not go on this trip. Even if you try to escape the music and the type of people there and go on top of the ship to see the beautiful views (which are beautiful, but are ruined by the experience on board this cruise), you will STILL hear the disgusting music they play loud and clear. 5. You will not enjoy seeing the other people there. The dress code they supposedly have is NOT enforced and only the classier people will be nicely dressed; the others will wear baggy jeans falling off their body, dirty t-shirts and hoodies. DO NOT ruin your experience and pay the horribly overpriced charge for this horrible cruise. Just go have a nice evening at a nice restaurant. AVOID THIS, unless they change some things. I signed up to citysearch JUST to write this review and help others avoid a horrible time and wasting lots of money. more

What a fun way to celebrate an event. We put together a 25 person gathering where everyone could sign up and pay on their own. Spirit made it so easy to do! The boat was great - beautiful sights, great food, fun servers, music, dancing. It was just what we were looking for. The tables are long and perfect for our gang. Afterwards, my friends and I agreed that if you're looking for a quiet intimate evening, this might not be for you. Or if your looking for the cuisine of the most expensive restaurant, you might be disappointed. But if your looking for a fun and different way to celebrate and have a great time, this is the place for you. more

This was one of the best things I have scheduled on vacation in a while. The food, staff, and entertainment was great. Online booking is easy. I am handicapped and the staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. more

we had a wonderful time. It was family day in Baltimore and we enjoyed the lunch cruise. The food was outstanding. The staff was friendly and very entertaining. The reservations were easy to do online. We're looking forward to cruising again. more

it was a wonderful experience. I organized this event for 38 people and the sales department was very helpful and accomidating which made my job so easy. They let me ad people at the last minute, grouped us together and everyone had a great time. Food was excellent. Great waiter and entertainment. I would recomend this for your organization. more

Took my mom on the cruise and we had a really nice time. Food was great and the waiter was absolutely fabulous. The staff was very friendly as well. I would do it again. The music was variety and so was the food. The only complaint I had was there was a private party going on on another level and they were pretty obnoxious but this was not the ships fault. They did manage to get them under control. Overall I recommend the cruise and would do it again. more

The place ever to have a wedding! My guests are still talking about how it was the best wedding ever! The wedding planners were awesome. The staff on the cruise were top notch! They were so helpful and friendly. The food was great, the selection was huge. I can't wait to take another cruise! I recommend Spirit Cruises for any major event or even just a fun night out!!! more

My sister and I went on the lunch cruise on June 20, 2009. We had a great time. The staff was so polite and full of smiles. They even entertained us with a few live performances. The food was hot and tasty. The view from the upper deck was phenominal. I am planning on going again soon. I want to try the dinner cruise next. Try it out and enjoy!! Pros: Wonderful staff, excellent food, and a lot of fun! Cons: The A/C on the ship was up too high, but it was ok. more

Here is the complaint I filed: I was really disappointed with this cruise. First of all, my wife and I had planned this as a romantic cruise and decided on the moonlight cruise only to discover that the cruise ship we were on was flocked by at least 100 middle to high school students. This does not make for a romantic cruise. Then after we are seated I am informed by the "manager" that the waiter will be along for our drink order, I not wanting to wait inquired about getting our own drinks to which he informed me a cash bar was available leading me to believe that the drinks brought by the waiter were included. I ordered 2 pina colada's at the cash bar and was charged a whopping $24!!! Your site says that "Mixed drinks start at $6.00 for Classic brand liquors, $8.00 for Premium drinks." so even if pina colada's are considered premium drinks, we were over charged by $8!!! The liquor used in these drinks was BOTTOM shelf and the amount of alcohol I witnessed the bartender pour was not sufficient for even one drink, didn't even amount to a single shot! I paid reluctantly as to keep this cruise as romantic as possible without killing our mood. Then dinner is ready. The food was cold. I mean cold, not even room temperature. I expressed my feelings to the "manager" who assured me he would "speak with the chef" which did my wife and I no good as our plates were full and we were hungry as we had waited all day for this meal. The selection was terrible and did not fit well with the accompanying sides. We ordered a few more drinks from the "spirit" menu, again thinking these were part of the price we had paid, only to find out hours later when our waiter brought us the bill that they were in fact not part of the price. We were charged $10.50 per drink, need I remind you that your site says "Mixed drinks start at $6.00 for Classic brand liquors, $8.00 for Premium drinks." We had ordered 4 of these drinks. Once again I spoke to the "manager" who informed me that drinks were not part of the price. Fine time to let someone know! Because of poor management, poor communication, and poor organization, this evening that could have been a memorable event in a positive light, became just the opposite and has left a sour taste in our mouth.
