This is the WORST consignment store I have ever been too. I have both shopped (or tried too) and sold here more than once and I have been SERIOUSLY lied to and ripped off every time! First of all everything in the store is WAY overpriced! You can hardly find anything there for under $10! (USED burp rags are $3!!) I find the same items in Walmart and other stores for less money than she is selling them for. Secondly she is dishonest. I recently brought in 3 tubs of clothing, she made me leave them there over night so she could go through them. The next day when I came in to get them, she told me she only took a few things because she was so over stocked and offered me $15 store credit. I even saw the small pile of clothes that I recognized as mine behind the counter, so I accepted the offer. Than I went to load my tubs back into my car. They were all nearly empty! She took almost everything I had in them! I have sold to other consignment stores as well, and never have I left feeling so cheated, and to make it even more insulting she lied to me and set it all up to look like she was doing me a favor by offering me $15! Leaving the small pile of clothes out for me to see was so deceiving. Usually when you sell to a someplace like this they go through it while your there and than show you what they are taking, she dose everything behind your back and than shows you only what she wants you to see. I will NEVER return to this establishment for either buying or selling. The first time I gave her the benefit of the doubt, I will not be robbed again! Save your time and money and go out to Re-Kid in Lexington, its a little more of a drive but they are wonderful there and they are honest!
