If you are a teacher of any kind, you should check out the Education Credit Union. They give really good interest rates on loans, and they are so great to work with. I have a friend who really needed the date changed on a car payment because of a job switch, and they not only changed the date, but let them skip a month so that they could keep up! How many banks do that? We tried to do that with our bank and they wouldn't for any reason. I would highly recommend banking there if you qualify.
