Chinese and Japanese food lovers can now eat together! 4/28/2006

One of the greatest ideas I've seen - and it's on the westbank! I love sushi (like Chinese food, but LOVE sushi) - and a lot of my friends and family don't. Now I can get my squid salad, rolls, and nigiri while everyone else eats egg rolls and fried rice. Located in a strip mall near Target, Stage, Ross and a ton of other restaurants and shops, it's actually a handy place to be no matter what you need. more

When I am feeling flush ;-) 3/29/2006

..and sometimes even when I am not, I'd treat myself to sashimi from Eastern. I have never had a bad dish there, but their Sashimi Deluxe is the ultimate comfort food for me. It comes with a nice side salad with a carrot-ginger dressing and a cup of Miso soup. The fish is always super fresh and super delicious. I like the service there as well, they are always polite, pleasant and professional. They have a very extensive menu and offer both Chinese and Japanese dishes. The decor is upscale and the restaurant always sparkling clean. One more reason to come to the Westbank, y'all. more
