Driving School 911

Our experience with the 911 Driving School was really good. Everything was straightforward and the price was reasonable. It was a little more that I expected but this was also my first time putting a child through driving school. He's got excellent driving skills and received one-on-one time at the school. I feel like he's actually learning. He did his road test and we went to the DMV. It was great! more

My son needed a driving school, so I went over and talked to the people at 911 Driving School - Columbia. They lady out front really did a lot to help me, and it was very much appreciated. They accommodated everything we needed! They even picked my son up from school and from the house, and then they brought him back after the lesson. Because they pick up and drop off, you don't even have to take your child to their place of business. more

My son used 911 Driving School - Columbia. We liked the fact that he could take his driving test with them rather than having to go through a licensing center. He knew the instructors, so he was more comfortable and less nervous. They were very professional, and we had a positive experience with them. They were very obliging. I signed up my son to go ahead and take a class to get his license so that he would be able to drive to school in the morning. It was a very easy and fast process. It made sense to have him take the test with the same people who gave him the class and I am glad that the school was very structured and got him his license fairly quickly. more

I like the communication that they have with the students and the parents at 911 Driving School of Columbia. I also like that they are courteous and very informative about what service they provide. They also follow up. They let you know about the drive days in advance, too. more

I really enjoyed the service they provided. They were patient and took the time to really instruct my daughter and demonstrate that a car is a weapon and you have to be mindful not only of yourself but of others on the road. I was pleased that my daughter was able to get her license in a timely manner and overall I was very impressed with them. more

My daughter took the 8 hour class on Saturday and did her six hours of driving. She also took her driving exam with them and everything was fine. No complaints. Everything was great. It was everything we expected -- no surprises. more

We had an overall good experience using 911 Driving School - Columbia. It was easy access, and they had a lot of different hours available for the lessons to accommodate my son's needs. He took both the driving lessons and the driving test with them. He got his license, so it turned out very good! My son felt very comfortable with the instructors, which was important to give him the best driving lessons to start him on his way. That was huge for me. Everyone really took care of me at 911 Driving School. I felt that they helped me out a lot. The instructor was good at teaching me how to drive. He was also really calm. Other people sometimes freak out when you're behind the wheel, but that didn't happen with him. more

She had a great experience with 911 Driving School. She just did the basic driver training. She had been driving for a year and a half with her permit so she was pretty familiar with driving but they were willing to work with her where she was and gave her extra things she didn't know. My 16 year old son took driving lessons at 911 Driving School - Columbia. I knew I would not be able to teach him to drive without scaring him to death. We heard about 911 Driving School from a friend, and our experience with them was great. I felt comfortable with police officers teaching him how to drive. He took both the lessons and the driving test with him, and he now has his license. I think my son felt more comfortable than I did with his lessons. He gained more confidence with those guys than he would have driving with me. There's no way I could have taught him. I think if you have a new driver you should consider 911 Driving School. It alleviates the pressure of a parent and child trying to do lessons together. But it doesn't take the parent away, it just gives the new driver the confidence they need as they learn without having a parent barking directions from the passenger seat. more

My daughter took both the driving lessons and the driving test with them. Everything turned out perfect! My daughter passed the driving test, so she's out doing her thing now. They were incredibly flexible with the scheduling and the hours. Having the afternoon, evenings and weekends available for us was great. The instructors at 911 Driving School - Columbia were actually police officers, so they certainly had the credentials and the qualifications. They were very knowledgeable in what they were doing. I also like their scheduling and the flexibility with which they allowed my daughter to schedule her drives. Overall, I appreciated the professionalism and organizational skills in their establishment. I would highly recommend it for new drivers. more

The instructors at 911 Driving School - Columbia are very friendly and helpful. My cousin took her driving test there three or four years ago, so when I moved to the States, I was told I should go to them to learn to drive. I had never really driven before, so when I went to 911 Driving School I was really a beginner at 37 years old. The instructor who taught me was very helpful and made the experience very nice. I'm sad I can't remember his name. Mr. Don was with me for my driving test. He is a little bit strict, as he is supposed to be, but is overall a very nice person. After I passed the test on my last day, I gave him a hug because I was so overwhelmed about being able to drive. I was so nervous that I didn't know how to drive and I was afraid I couldn't learn. But they showed me that I could and how to do it, and I'm driving now! They were really helpful and nice when it came to scheduling the lessons. They would send me an email the day before the lesson or even five days before, which was very nice. If you need driving lessons you should go to 911 Driving School - Columbia. They give you the best experience as a new driver. I'm glad I went to them, because they're patient, they're nice and they treated me like family. more

My son took driving lessons and his driver's test at 911 Driving School - Columbia. They were just always very nice and accommodating. If I couldn't come at a certain time, or if I had to cancel and reschedule an appointment they were always very flexible. The instructors are very good. I would highly recommend the service. 911 Driving School - Columbia is great! Our teenage son took driving lessons with them, and he really enjoyed them. He enjoyed both the classroom time and the time on the road with the instructors. He said they were nice and funny and that he felt comfortable around them because it was like talking to friends. It's important for people learning to drive to be comfortable, and for my son it was a very enjoyable experience. He had nothing but good things to day about his instructors. Every single one of the members of their staff is extremely informative. They let you know what is happening and how. They make sure the appointments are scheduled. They are very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. It's a wonderful idea to have police training kids on how to drive. It's a good idea, a good concept. With their knowledge and background, they provide exactly what should be provided to kids taking drivers ed. And it's nice they take the kids out in the newer cars. The service was well worth the fee charged. Their pricing is very competitive with other programs. But unlike the other services, 911 Driving School - Columbia provides excellent customer service. They follow through and are very organized and professional. Every penny spent is well worth it. For the end result, our son was happy, we were happy and he got his license. I highly recommend them! Everything went great with 911 Driving School - Columbia! We used them for the first time for our daughter. In addition to the lessons, our daughter was able to take the test with them, which was great because she knew and trusted them after the lessons. Then we went to the DMV to get her license. The staff at 911 Driving School - Columbia were friendly and courteous. They were flexible and timely when it came to scheduling lessons on a teenager's schedule. My wife is new to the US and, having never driven here and with only minimal driving experience anywhere, she was understandably nervous. Everyone (literally everyone!) at 911 in Columbia was fantastic -- each working to calm her fears, maximize her driving skills, help successfully navigate DMV complexities and get her SC driver's license.
