Drain & Air Rescue

I am very unhappy with austin drain and air rescue, especially chris, the office help. My mother called to have air conditioning repair done, an appointment was scheduled for monday 4-2-12, my mother was not pleased with that man work and requested josh (from reading reviews about him and this company), so chris said josh was out of town and would be back tuesday (4-3-12) and scheduled her appointment with him for 1:00 pm, after 3:00 pm and he hadn't showed or no phone call, she called chris back, who said he must have mixed up the customers and really had not scheduled josh to come out. We did ask to speak with the owner, who chris said was out of town until thursday, we could be dead by that tim, needless to say we will try another company, hopefully, one of their word. more

Austin Drain and Rescue were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They replaced the hot water heater, rebuilt the foundation it was on, and installed all the safety measures. They also replaced two toilets in two of our bathrooms with high efficiency ones. They were a bit more expensive, but I was happy with them in the long run. Finally, they took care of some little issues with our under-sink plumbing. I was very satisfied with the work. The two servicemen who came by, Manny and John, were very friendly and nice. more

After waiting for a 7 hr window for Roto Rooter and then never showing up, we called Austin Drain for a rescue at 9pm on a Friday night while our water had been shut off for the whole day. Brian showed up an hour after our call and had our plumbing problem fixed within minutes. While is was a very costly fix for a small part, it was worth going with this company for service and knowledge. We will always use Austin Drain. more

I am glad we called. The gentleman who came to my 'rescue' is named Manny. He is kind. He is understanding and he worked very hard to get us fixed before the night was over. It was 10:30PM and he was still out in the dark working to replace the water line to my house. In the cold, in the dark, and in the rain. I appreciate it so very much. When we have need of air conditioner service I will be calling this company. The service I recieved when I had a leak shows me this is a good company that you can depend on. Yes, I WOULD use their service again. more

I was out of town this past July, my A/C unit went out and my parents called another local company. They installed a bad part costing me over $500. When I realized it was bad and that company would not replace it, I called Austin Drain and Air and explained the situation. They drove out to Lakeway, replaced the part and only charged me for the part itself, not for a service call or drive time (like other companies quoted). They have since been back to check the heating system since it's starting to get cold and offered several cost saving suggestions. Adam was the Service Tech today, he was polite and very helpful. After he left their office called to follow up to make sure I was happy with the service. What else could you ask for? I'm going to add plumbing to my services that they provide. They've proven their trust and committment to me. I've already referred them to a friend that needs A/C work. more

My compressor stopped workiing during the latter part of the heat wave we experienced for such a long time, and we were without air, that is unthinkable in TX. I google Businesses that repaired central air conditioners and compressors, read reviews, made several calls to compare prices and services offered, and my choice was Drain & Air Rescue. Josh was sent out to my home to check out my unit. He was so pleasant, understanding, and professional as I shared my dilemma, he listened and reassured me that he would take a look and survey the condition of the unit, and see if he could get it working. Joshua used his technical diagnosis skills, determine what was wrong, and got my air back on within 10 - 20 minutes. This was the best service I have experienced in a long time. Short version - I highly recommend this company for complex or simple plumbing problems and new installations. Their commitment to service, quality, cleanliness, professionalism and follow through are all the best I have seen in this industry. I have found the complete experience to be a good one - the way they answer the phone, put on shoe covers when they enter your home, quality and timliness of arrival and repair/installation, competitive price, knowledgable plumbers, good follow through. While all of their plumbers are great, I particularly recommend a gentleman named Tyler. Just outstanding. More detail if you want it - They installed new water heaters for me. Great job. Remember the bitter cold nights last winter? We had an outside pipe burst despite much care in wrapping them. We had to wait a while because they were so busy but they came out and did a fantastic job in extremely bad conditions (wind, cold, dark). Next, we had a mystery leak after all the dry weather. Again, great job ruling things out and isolating the problem. I hope I don't have to use a plumbing company quite so much next year but I am really glad to have found these people. I highly recommend them and will use them again and again. In fact, I trust them so much that I would no longer even get a competitive bid. Their first pass quality is high and I know they will stand behind their work. more

Tim came out to do an annual inspection on our heating system and discovered that our thermostat and heat pump hadn't been wired correctly. He quickly identified the problem and promptly fixed it. I am very pleased with the service of Austin Drain and Air Rescue and wouldn't consider going with any other vendor because I have every confidence that they know what they are doing and I can trust that my families well being and comfort are of utmost importance to this company. Diane, who told the great news about being able to find a motor and will be able to install it. John who kept me informed of when the technician would get here and Adam the technician who came out after hours to install it. The company was recommended to me and I would recommend them to anybody I know. more

Everyone knows that great companies are built on having great employees and Josh proves this to be true. Very professional and direct when it came to servicing my AC unit. Noticed some things that could save me potential headaches (and money) down the road and provided a very reasonable estimate for the work. Josh was great. Had my AC serviced after a few years of home ownership. Josh found some problems, took pictures, and gave me a list of options to choose from in repair. He explained everything very clearly. I would highly recommend Drain and Air rescue. Awesome!!! more

I had a yard leak last night and I called these guys out. Tyler my plumber was very professional and did a great job! I also signed up for their AC service and they are coming out today to look at these guys. They are a bit higher then other compaines I used in the past but by far faster and very attentive to my needs. Thanks! more

Well I just had a wonderful experiance with Drain and Air Rescue. They came out on a FREE that's right FREE duct evaluation of my a/c system and found that the air was cooling off my attic!! I had just had another company out back in September in last year and said everything was fine. They never went into my attic like Sergio did and took pictures and a video of my problem. Then he gave me my repair ideas and I am going with the best one which is remove it all and fix it permanently. I am excited to finally fix my problems!! more

I was a little skeptical about this company when I called, but needed my AC Fixed quickly to sell my place. They charged me $100 to come out and clean my AC and see if there was anything wrong with it. When they found over $800 in repair work that needed to be done (after I had a home inspector come look at it and say it was functional, just needed to be cleaned), I decided to get a second opinion. After the second company looked at it, they informed me that there was no way possible it had been cleaned. I called Austin Drain & Air Rescue on this, and they admitted that they hadn?t done anything, yet they had no problem charging me for it. The only thing they did correctly, was refund my money, but only after I threatened a law suit. Stay away from these guys and if you have used them, I would ALWAYS get a second opinion. Crooks. more

Josh was extremely Helpful. He came after hours when I got home from work. He tried so many different things to fix my ac. Even told me to get something fixed that was detrimental to me and leaking carbon Monoxide that no other ac company has told me. He finally ran the water hose to cool my ac off and on the roof. Josh was fantastic. He was very professional and curtious. I know nothing about air conditioning and Josh explained everything so that I understood what was going on.
