My 10 yr old son and I went to the consult when our regular dentist suggested that my son may need braces. I can't remember the name of the woman that went over the whole process from payment to the step by step procedures that would take palce with my son, but she was great. By the end of the consult my son was sitting in a chair (somewhat scared) beginning the process of having great teeth! Almost 2 years later my 12 year old makes his own appointments and truly enjoys visiting the office every 5 to 6 weeks. more

The professional staff at Dr. Ed Kavanaugh office is some of the best I have seen. I came to Kansas City from Indiana fresh out of braces it was a rush job because of my move to Kansas City, Dr Kavanaugh start seeing me (remember I am not his patient) adjust my retainer every so often just out of kindness and I knew then what kind of a doctor and business man he was so when I needed to go back into braces again I knew who was getting my business. This time my teeth look exceptional. He even fixed my crossbit that the other orthodist said he couldn't fix. I think Dr. Ed Kavanaugh is the best there is I highly recommend him and his staff. more

I don't like having my teeth tightened but Dr.Kavannah always makes me want to smile in his silk shirts and friendly smile .The front desk is always friendly and professional and I never have to wait to long after checking in.I would have to say there have been wires that haven't been clipped as much as they could been and some accidental popped off brackets and pinched lips -but it was purely accidental . Also Doctor Kavannagh said it would be about 2 yrs and it was 2 1/2.My total experience has always been professional and friendly ,I am glad to have Dr.Kavannagh as my orthodontist more
