Best

It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Worst

Editorial review from Citysearch 4/26/2017

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Not family friendly at all. This was the worst stay we have ever had, not only with Hilton but at any hotel we've ever been to. We were told days in advance before checking in that we would have a crib for sure in our room for our baby to sleep. Our other 2 children were already sharing a bed. Of course that was not true when we arrived after a 7 hour trip. They could not have cared less about a crib. It would have been much easier if they had good customer service. They could have went to walmart down the street to buy a $50 pack n play to fix the LIE I was told prior to check in. Had I not been lied to, I could have made different arrangements for our stay. And the manager offered breakfast for ONE morning we were there as if that is supposed to make up for all the other things that went wrong. Breakfast and condescending attitudes fixed nothing. What hotels today dont have mircowaves either? Horrible hotel. Their motto is ""Theft by Deception."" Stay somewhere else if you have a family or if you don't want to be ripped off. more

Dirty and Rude 2/1/2007

This Doubletree is in a great location and I have wanted to stay here for years. When I arrived, I was told that the room I had reserved had been given to another party. They put my husband and I up in a extremely small and extremely dirty room. There were stains all over the floor and the smell was terrible. The hotel was unable to give us a new room until the next day.The head valet was extremely rude to everyone he came in contact with (employees and other guests). He was unable to communicate effectively therefore causing mass confusion in the lobby and the valet area. Hotel Management was non-existent. There are too many nice hotels to enjoy in the French Quarter for the same price with better accomodations. I will not be staying here again. Pros: Location Cons: Rude Staff,Parking Service, and Dirty Rooms more

Mardi Gras 2004! 7/12/2004

Stayed here for Mardi Gras '04. It's situated on the river and across from Harrah's casino. The parades passed directly outside our room too which was cool. Bourbon street and the craziness of Mardi Gras are just a couple blocks away so it's easy to stumble back at 4a. The staff were pretty friendly, but no outside guests at nite. They made every person wear wristbands. No big deal for me since i'm taken, but my buddies were left a little ""blue"". If you're going to Mardi Gras, try booking this place in August through Harrah's cause they block rooms here. Pros: Proximity to Bourbon, On the River more

HORRIBLE Service 2/26/2003

We've just returned from Valentine's weekend at the Windsor Court where our package included dinner at the Grill Room. I had always heard good things about the restaurant but had never been there prefering places in the Quarter. We had the absolute worst service we have ever had at an upscale restaurant. In fact, it was probably in the top ten of the worst service we've ever had at any restaurant. We were given menus and the wine list. Ten minutes later someone came by and we placed a wine order but were told the bottle was sold out. Another FIFTEEN minutes passed before a different someone finally came to our table and that was only because I got up and asked the hostess if we were going to be waited on that night. Pros: Elegant Room Cons: Service, Service, Service more

SIMPLY THE BEST ! 8/19/2002

The Grill Room is simply the most beautiful and romantic restaurant in New Orleans, if not the country. On a ""cost no object"" basis, the ambience, food and service have no equal. What is more romantic than that !! more

Elegant and Charming 7/26/2002

The Windsor Court is absolutely beautiful. The hotel offered many amenities. The rooms were fully stocked and offered phones, fax machines, hair dryers, and anything else you desire. The turn down service and box of chocolates delivered to your door @ 5:00 was absolutely charming. Pros: roomy, soothing atmosphere, excellent staff Cons: expensive more
