Dorsie's Dairy Bar is by FAR one of the cleanest foodservice establishments in Pike County. They always receive 90%+ on health dept. surveys. The owner purchased the business from her Mother and has been in business over 45 years providing quality foods at a great price with the highest sanitation and service standards in town. The coleslaw is made fresh daily from fresh produce from Reynold's Market (the owner's brother).  The chili is made daily starting around 7:00am and simmers until 2:00pm. YUM!!!  The owner does not sell her chili regardless of many request, because that would be almost an entire business to itself.  The ice cream is magnificant.  She buys only quality ingredients that have to have an unspecified (secret) amt. of butter fat to make it creamy and smooth.  The best in town!!!  I have had many food items from Dorsie's and it is honestly hard to decide a favorite.  I LOVE it all!!!  The fish, which is 100% Alaskan cod filets is superb! The BBQ Pork-to die for more

Dorsies Dairy Bar is very small compared to other drive-up get out and order you food at a small window, but Dorsies does have good food. Their parking lot is very small but it's worth the effort to go there because the food is great and the employee's are so nice and friendly... The price is very cheap. This is a little old fashion restaurant that you have to go up to a little window to order your food,not much parking ,they been in business as long as I can remember ,but its worth a trip there to get thier hotdogs and frozen custards.Their prices are very reasonable,and staff is freindly. PROS: great hotdogs CONS: not enough parking area more
