On our first visit she let us wait in the waiting room for 1,5 hour. She knew she was occupied for a while (delivering a baby), but she did not manage to tell us and ask if we want to reschedule. Every time they said, 15 more minutes, we're waiting for a room now. Blabla. We walked out, I don't want to have somebody to help deliver a baby that is not on time. Afterwarsd they called and told us 1 hour wait is normal, so if you don't mind waiting and don't have a day job, good luck with Woolfolk. more

Went to her for severe pain due to cysts on LEFT OVARY...had surgery and this quack removed my RIGHT OVARY!!!! I WILL SEE HER IN COURT! more

I have read all of the wonderful reviews people have left & am wondering if this is the same doctor... From day 1, I was treated like a number in her office. After seeing her several times, she STILL would walk into the exam room, shake our hands & introduce herself like this was the first time she'd ever seen us. I am a high risk pregnancy because I am 43. Recently, I was in Hermann's L&D triage AFTER SHE SENT ME THERE because I was having pain. I was told to follow up with her the next day. When I went into her office, she asked me why I was in triage....HELLO!! YOU SENT ME THERE!! I began to recount to her what had happened, she cut me off mid-sentence to talk to her nurse. After an ultrasound & being on the monitor, she finally saw me in the exam room, asked me a couple of questions then pushed on my belly. I still have a spot that hurts & I told her that. She showed absolutely no concern for that pain. While there, my husband & I had a concern regarding our sex life that we wanted to discuss with her. We asked her about it, she gave us a brief answer then made a very sarcastic comment to me about how everywhere SHE touches me, I hurt. In other words, it sounded like she was saying 'no wonder there are problems, even when I touch you it hurts..he probably doesn't WANT to have sex with you.' I got very upset & told my husband that I thought we were done there. She stopped me & said, "I think I need to refer you out to another physician, we just don't have any bond & neither one of us is happy." I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EARS!! SHE is the PROFESSIONAL!! Why does SHE need to be happy to take care of her patients?? The most important thing here is the health of my child! She told me she spends way more time with me than any other patient (I'm only there 1x/mo!!). WHAT?!? I guess I'm not in & out quick enough for her! What dr. abandons ANY ob patient let alone a high risk!! TERRIBLE DOCTOR!!! more

Dr. Woolfolk has taken care of me for more than 26 years. I read the negative review and cannot believe it's the same doctor. In all these years, I haven't had a single issue with her or her staff. Dr. Woolfolk has helped me through many sad and frightening moments, from miscarriages and infertility work-ups to a hysterectomy and scary lumps in my breast and ovary. On each visit, whether it was in her office or in the hospital, I always received excellent, very personal care. She has always been considerate of my feelings, respectful of me and my time, ready to listen when the tears came, able to make me laugh and relax about an infection, straightforward with her medical discussions and advice, and extremely professional in every way. Most important to me, I always felt like she really "gets it." That seemed important when I was talking to her about medical options that could change my life, as so many OB/GYN issues can. Believe me, feeling that your doctor really understands how you feel is very reassuring when you're considering a hysterectomy of facing the possibility of losing your breast. Apparently I'm not the only one who likes Dr. Woolfok, as her office walls are lined with photos of thousands of babies that she has delivered. Now she's on the second generation of babies in many of the same families. She seems to know all of them. I came to Dr. Woolfolk after trying a different OB/GYN every year for probably 12 years and found her approach to be more holistic. By that, I just mean that she checks and counsels on overall health as well as girlie things. Now I can't imagine seeing anyone else. I drive in all the way from the Jersey Village area but wouldn't even consider changing to a closer doctor. Obviously, I highly recommend her. -TB, Houston more

dr woolfolk was very thorough with me in discussing my situation. i felt comfortable with her. i believe in more eye contact. she take no risk with you so if a referral to additional drs. or test is needed , she does it. i recommend highly more

NI was recomended to dr. Woolfolk she is one of the best obgyn i have. She really cares about her patients needs. Always follows up with phone calls.i would recomend her to everyone taked her time with you and explains things until you fully understand. more

All that I expected and more from a gyn. The time she spent answering my question and informing me, I'm sure anyone looking for a good doctor would welcome her expertise. Great bedside manner and always cheerful and smiling. Get to know your doctor and be comfortable with them. You can be yourself with this doctor ALL the time. I Love her to death. Good: dr.woolfolk was very professional and always very attentive to what my concerns and needs were. she gave me the best care i ever had. I was high risk with gestational diabetes. She and Charlotte took excellant care of me and followed up with phone calls to check on me at home. I could ask for better care. Other: I understand a doctor have to leave the office and go deliver a baby but the staff would always come out to inform the patients if dr. woolfolk had to go over to hospital. Waiting was NO problem when you know you have a brilliant doctor looking after you. I RECOMMEND HER AS A 10 STAR DOCTOR. She deliver both my sons. more

I have had my two daughters delivered by Dr. Donna Woolfolk and am returning with my fourth pregnancy. I love her detail to my particular situation and she is concerned about all my needs for a healthy delivery. She delivered both of my daughters by C-section, and came to visit me at least twice during the weeks I was in recovery. I needed the extra attention and I appreciate her for it. I trust her to care for me and my babies during such a critical procedure. My husband finds comfort in her honesty, professionalism, and care for her patients. It has been awhile since I went to her but I remember her lack of concern. She also did not take the time to explain things to me and never showed up for the birth of my son until it was over - which turned out to be great because my son was delievered by a wonderful doctor - Dr. Randall Dunn, who is now my regular GYN. more
