Excellent professional HVAC service installation company 1/24/2012

Donmar exemplifies what a customer service-first company should be, from their president down to the installation crew and service technicians. They provide detailed technical info in "laymen" terms and their professional service fees are reasonable and commensurable with the quality products they installed. They don't push for products of which they are a manufacturer distributor; they take time to explain differences between various products by different manufacturers and let the customer make the decision. I also appreciate the fact that they don't play the game of quoting high and subsequently trying to beat the lowest quote from others. Overall, I had a good experience with Donmar in replacing both the gas furnace and the AC systems. more

Clean, Professional Install 12/11/2011

It has been 3 months and I have had no issues with our new furnace or AC. I can be very meticulous and have not found any flaws with the install. Every worker on site was polite and patient in answering my questions and taking care of small details I pointed out. more

We know Donmar company since 1999 when we lived in Herndon, Virginia. We are now living in Fairfax, VA and Donmar Company is still the one we contact when we need its service. Donmar Company provides quality service whether installation a new systems or service it, and its technicians are excellent,polite, and courteous. They installed two new AC/Heating systems at our home last year, and at our son home in Reston on Thursday, July 7, 2011. We are very happy with our new AC/Heating systems and Donmar's quality services. High recommend it. more

Meets expectations, is reliable, fairly priced, and does a great job. 1/28/2011

I have been a regular customer with Donmar Company. They have been servicing my heat pump for over ten years. They built a new system for me six years ago and do regular maintenance on it twice a year. They are very responsive and do the job. Donmar Company gives good information and documents everything. The information they provide is accurate and reliable. I never feel like I'm getting the wool pulled over my eyes. It is an incredible operation. They meet my expectations, which is the best I can say about anybody, as I have very high expectations. more

Good for the system's life cycle. 1/13/2011

I first used Donmar Company 6-7 years ago when I was shopping for a new system. They installed a brand-new, complete HVAC system for my house. They paid attention to what I wanted and needed, and they did things right. Everything turned out exactly as I expected. I have a maintenance contract with Donmar, so I have continued to use them and everything has been fine. I like the fact that they are a small company and Don knows what's going on. He talks with his crews all of the time and knows his people and customers well. more

Neat, thorough, timely, and efficient. 1/11/2011

I got an estimate from Donmar Company to replace the system that I had. My wife and I wanted something more efficient, and they ran over the options with me. They made a proposal that my wife and I thought made a lot of sense, so we went forward with it. Our old system was functioning okay, but we wanted something for the long term that was higher quality and more efficient. They were able to make recommendations and tell me why it would be more efficient. I understood what they were saying. The installation went very smoothly. They made an appointment, were on time, and were neat and efficient. They did everything they said they were going to do, and it was really smooth. We have all dealt with contractors, and in my opinion more often than not they let you down when it comes to what they promise. Donmar was not like that. Everything they said they were going to do was done on time and efficiently. They were great. I would highly recommend Donmar Company. I have a very high opinion of their company, the way they run it, and the job they did for me. The neatness, thoroughness, and timeliness of the job they did for me was impressive. They did a great job. more

Donmar Gas piping 10/1/2010

Donmar has completed two major jobs for us over the last few years. First, they installed and have serviced a Trane system that we are very happy with. Second, they recently piped gas so we may add a cooktop, gas fireplace, and natural gas grill. Don took the time to do detailed calculations to ensure our appliances were installed properly. Edgar was professional and courteous. Paul helped to repair our Trane system and was also extremely professional and courteous. The most valuable part about this company is that the owner is committed to quality, strives to provide reasonable pricing, and technically adept. more

Exceptional family home business with focus on quality customer service 9/13/2010

A neighbor recommended Donmar Company, which is why we decided to use them. My experience with them was exceptional. I had talked to 2 or 3 other contractors, and Donmar was the easiest to deal with and the most responsive. They were very thorough, precise, and customer-focused. They did an assessment of our house and made recommendations not only on the supplies but also on the equipment to use. We also were able to take advantage of the rebate program. We had a level of comfort going in to the installation, knowing it was going to make an exceptional difference in our utility costs. Our first utility bill after the installation was considerably cheaper than what I had imagined. I am confident that we will get a lifetime of service out of that installation. Having considered other contractors, I would start with Donmar. We were most comfortable with their level of service, and the experience was exceptional. more

I have always used Donmar for my heating and air conditioning needs and, once again, I received excellect service. They thoroughly explain any and all problems, and give you options for repair. I trust them to be in my house and to take care of our heating and air conditioning equipment. Excellent Experience. 9/9/2010

I used Donmar Company on a referral from a business associate, who had seen Donmar in the neighborhood and talked with the neighbor. It was a second hand referral. I had three different companies give an estimate on the work. Donmar was not the least expensive, but I had sense of expectation in what was going to be delivered, and I was ready for change. I trusted in what I was hearing from the person who did the review of my home, the introduction, and the sale. I have two zones for heating and air, and one zone was completely changed, both for the air conditioner and furnace. It turned out very well. There was only one surprise, and that was that we had no anticipation of the size of unit. It was twice as tall as the other brands. We are living with it, but it was surprise. I had a very trusting relationship with the person who did the sale. The people who did the technical implementation gave a very professional representation of their firm. more
