A FUN PLACE TO LEARN AND EXPLORE 6/30/2006

The Discovery Center has something for everyone. It is a great place to take your children for a day of learning and exploring. It is also fun for the adults!! They also have a little place called Tiny Town for the toddlers to play. The shows are very educational. You can also have your birthday party at the Discovery Center and share the fun with your friends. more

a little escape 4/13/2006

I take my girls to the discovery center about once a week and they love it. There is a great play area for toddlers and they especially love the fish tanks and lizards. Thanks to the cheap membership fee, we can pay once a year and go enjoy it as often as we like. It is a great place to go to get out of the house during the day, especially when it is cold outside. more

Great place for kids 3/31/2006

This is an awesome resource if you are a stay-at-home-mom. They have annual memberships for, if I remember correctly, $30. That is dirt cheap if you go even once per month. This membership is good for you and a guest, so you could even take a friend ... and their kids ... with you. They have tons of different things to do and toys to play with. My two year old daughter's favorite thing is to stare at the lizard and the fish. She will play for hours there. I highly recommend it. more

Learning is Fun 2/27/2006

What a great place to learn. There is something for everyone here, and the theme is science. They have some great hands on learning for the elementary aged children, and a play room for toddlers and preschool. The planetarium has great shows, and don't forget one of the only digital theaters in the country! Call ahead to see if there are some cool exhibits coming through. more
