this place is horrible i waited and waited for my 9:15 appt over and hour even though I asked the receptionist what was going on twice. They are so disorganized I will never go back. more

I started going to this practice when i found out i was pregnant. I am currently just about 5months pregnant now. A friend told me to go to this practice and i am very happy i did. The doctors and office staff have been nothing but nice to me. When I have to call the office to ask a question, i receive a response that day. One day I called the nurse 2 times because i was a little worried about some tests that came back and she called insistantly both times to make sure i understood everything and wasn't nervous any more. \r I have waited in the room for about 10mins if that. The waiting room is a different story. I am usually 5-10 mins early and get called right in. My last visit I waited for about 45mins and was seen by the doctor for 5mins.\r \r Over all this is a good practice. more

I felt so strongly about writing this review that I JUST got home from my appointment with Dr. Mitzner and I am writing this very second. I went to Dr. Mitzner once before this time and it was not a great experience. I was only 16 years old and it was my first time at a gynecologist office. I felt very uncomfortable and Dr. Mitzner did NOT make me feel any better. I went back today for a check up, thinking that maybe this time would not be as bad. I am 18 years old now and this time was WAY worse!!! I was waiting in the room for at least an hour and finally she came in. She asked me why I had gone off of my birth control and I said ""It doesn't help my cramps anymore, I think I'm immune to it since I have been taking it for a long time"" she responded with a BIG attitude and said ""Well you don't get immune to birth control"". We moved on to a breast exam where I was OBVIOUSLY uncomfortable, but of course the cold hearted woman that she is, she didn't care and kept going. You would think since I was saying ""Ouch"" she would go a little bit lighter, but no, she kept going. I was on the verge of tears when she finally finished, but we still had a pap smear to do. She told me to lower myself onto the chair, and when she was trying to check me, I was very tense. She said to me, ""If you are not going to let me do this then I am not going to do it"" EXCUSE ME BUT YOU ARE THE DOCTOR AND I AM THE PATIENT WOULDN'T YOU THINK THAT SHE WOULD TRY TO MAKE ME COMFORTABLE?!?!?! I started crying and she asked me ""Do you want to do this or not?"" I responded and said ""Well i need to do it so that's why I am here"" and she responded ""If you don't want to do this you can come back and do it another time"" As I was crying she just walked out. COMPLETE AND TOTAL COLD HEARTED BITCH. IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB THEN DON'T DO IT. I UNDERSTAND YOU SEE 20 VAGINAS A DAY BUT WOMAN ARE NOT MACHINES THAT JUST OPEN THERE LEGS. I have to concur: this practice is VERY poorly run. The staff is inattentive, and pretty nasty. I had a lunchtime appointment, waited for 20 minutes at first, then I was called inside and it turned out they confused me with another patient and put her chart at the door box. The nurse started asking me questions about my condition, and I was puzzled because it did not sound like this was about me. She finally looked whose chart she was holding, realized there was a mixup, and said she would get my doctor. After 20 minutes in the room - no sign of doctor. I had to step outside in the gown and yell out for someone to pay attention to me. The doctor did not come until another 15 minutes later. My appointment took about 2 hours altogether, and I only got a meek apology from the office manager. Needless to say they take your copay upfront, otherwise I would have been tempted not to pay a penny! should have insisted on a copay refund for the inconvenience! more

While I do like the doctors and have been going to them for 14 years, I have to say the office staff is just horrible. They are rude and nasty and over the past 14 years I have had to contact my doctor directly and waste his time to help me resolve issue that I have with his office. I am not sure why the doctors of that practice don't evaluate the staff and then get rid of the problem workers. more

the staff is terrible. i have been a patient there for 4 years now and I have never once had a good experience with their staff. They refuse to call patients back within a reasonable amount of time and neglect proper medical facility procedure for prescriptions. Pharmacy called the doctors office for four days in a row and it was not until I, myself, left TWO messages that they called me back and simply claimed that they had not received any messages except my last one. Staff is RUDE, SHORT TEMPERED, AND ILL MANNERED. The doctors are all very nice but the staff just makes it completely not worth your while. Staff made me fill a 3 month prescription for a generic birth control that I had never tried before because they wouldnt allow me to take the brand name so I ended up stuck with three months of a pill that made me miserable because my insurance wouldn't approve anymore until the three months were up. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. i will no longer be going to this office after their staff CONTINUALLY gets worse! absolutely frustrating to deal with! more

I was their patient for 7 years. Doctors are nice but the staff is terrible! I wanted to renew my prescription - I called on Wednesday, no renewal; pharmacist called on Thursday, no renewal; pharmacist called again on Friday, no renewal, I called on Monday - left a message again and hoped they would renew my prescription by the end of the day. At 3 pm I went to the pharmacy just to find out that nobody from my Gyn/Ob office called... Ok, I called them by myself - it was 3.15pm. The receptionist (?) told me there was nobody who could help me because ...everyone went home !!!! I was so frustrated and asked her when EXACTLY they are going to renew my prescription because I need my medicine and their answering machine states it takes up to 24 h to renew the prescription. It has been almost 5 days and I still have no medication. The reception called the nurse who started YELLING at me that she is doing me a favor and renewing my prescription, and next time I should wait. So I asked: ""Wait for what? I have been waiting for 5 days..."" Then she started yelling even more... No more. Done. I am not a piece of garbage, I am your client. If you don't know how to treat you clients - too bad, I am going to find a different doctor. Pros: good doctors Cons: terrible staff more

I have been going there for years for my annual checkups. it wasn't until I got pregnant when I noticed the rude and unfriendly staff. it took me 3.5 years to get pregnant and when I finally did I was very worried about the pregnancy. the staff at the front dest were so nasty and mean to me everytime I wanted to schedule a sonogram or consult with the doctor. they had scheduled my 9 week sonogram on the 11th week. they are very irresponsible and unprofessional. there is one specific head staffer there that always went out of her way to be nasty and mean to me. uuggghhh! I transferred to a different doctor right away, what a difference. so what if the clinic is clean and the doctors are good? what good is it if you have to face these staff members with a power trip? have a heart ladies! you are nothing short of disgusting!!
