Cris is a true artist with hair. She took my old-fashioned style of many years and cut and shaped it into an up-to-date fantastic style. I feel like a new woman. My hair has always been dry and fine and she has used products that rejuvenated my hair and gave it amazing body. What encouragement and confidence it has given me. It's amazing how important a good hairdo can be. more

Thanks so much to Cris for getting my hair color back to ""normal"". My friend recommended that I come talk to Cris when my color didn't quite turn out as I had hoped. I'm picky about my red and sometimes have a hard time verbalizing what I want. Cris really thought about the options and wasn't hasty with her decision about how to take care of my color. She considered all the options. My color really looks so much better!!!! And she styled it perfectly. I walked out of there feeling so much more like myself. Thanks!!!!! more

Best Colorist in Austin, TX 8/26/2008

I am so happy when I get to go see Cris for my hair color and cuts. She is by far the best colorist in the State of Texas. I always come away with a sense of peace and appreciation for beauty she brings to my life. Nice location, comforting environment. Makes my day everytime I see Cris. more

Amazing! 8/12/2008

I am very picky about who does my hair, and have tried countless salons that gave me mediocre results but now that I have found Cris I don't have to look anymore. She has given new life to my hair! Her skills are amazing and I have never seen anyone walk out of her Salon disappointed. She truly cares about her clients and making them look beautiful. She also sells Rae cosmetics and offers make up applications, and after purchasing the products my skin has never looked better! If you are like me and really care about your hair, don't trust it in anyone but Cris' hands. more

If you're looking for a stylist that will provide you with an amazing new hair style, you must make an appointment to see Cris! The Dolce Salon is one of those best kept secrets within Austin. The location is next-door to the Magnolia Cafe on beautiful Lake Austin Blvd off Mopac. Chris styled and colored my daughters hair and when she was finished, both the color and style, fit her facial profile and her personality perfectly! I have tried 4 different salons since moving here from Atlanta 2 years ago. I'm so happy to finally have found Cris! She gave me both new color and a new cut. I was very impressed with not only her talent but her intent on listening to what I was looking for. She is passionate about what she does and is both professional and fun to go to. I had a special event to attend so I went back to have her style my hair and do my makeup. The results were stunning! I had already been using some of the Rae cosmetics line, but I ended up buying several more items once she showed me how to use them. If you are looking for the best, go see Cris! Cris- Most Talented Hairstylist in Austin 6/5/2008

All of my friends and myself go to Cris - she gives the best hair cuts with a smile! The best part is that she listens to your wishes and gives real advice. She has a cute little vintage place on Lake Austin next to Magnolia Cafe. She gets booked out a week or two in advance, but the wait is well worth it! Are you getting married? Her ""updo's"" for weddings and bridal portraits are simply amazing. I just got married in May '08- and she turned me into a Princess Bride!
