I volunteer as a foster mom with a toy breed rescue group and over the past year I have taken 6 Shih Tzus and mixed fluffy breed dogs who were in my foster care to Michael for grooming. Because it's rescue, the dogs are usually in pretty bad condition and usually scared to death but Michael is patient and kind to each of them and they leave the shop looking great and never traumatized. For some of these dogs, this is their first grooming and Michael makes it a pleasant experience for them. Pros: Personalized Service more

Michael was attentive and intuitive with my Shih Tzu, who (because he had been rescued from an abusive and neglectful original owner) was very nervous about being separated from me for the grooming process. more

Best groomer I've ever had for my dog! 10/19/2008

i have a little shih tzu named oscar. he is a lot cuter than most shih tzus, in my opinion, but whenever i've taken him to get his hair cut at other places, he ends up looking terrible for a week or two -- like a big rodent -- which is why i wait for as long as possible before taking him in. he also hates getting his face groomed so there are always patches of hair missing in odd places. Pros: convenient, friendly, and VERY talented Cons: none at all more

Cute place, good customer service, my terrier looks great! 8/9/2008

I've been here rescently. The address is wrong for some reason, but it was across the street on the corner. they only take 1 or 2 pets at a time, which is great! i hate having to leave my pet at those other places all day long. They did GREAT job on my little terrier. He looks just like the picture I brought. Oh, and I've been to that Must-Love-Dogs place, they were so rude. I noticed they wrote that other bad review about Doggie Styles. They have a lot to learn about customer service. And I'm not surprised they would stoop so low.. needless to say I will never go back there. Doggie Styles was great! and I'll be going there from now on. Pros: Fast, clean, professional more
