Divisadero Touchless Carwash

The service is always friendly and they don't try talking you into a more expensive package!! All of their washes do a good job on your car and their facilities available to you after your wash are very convenient. I really recommend Divisadero CW to anyone wanting to save a lot of time and have their car washed by a service and not hang out in the cold to do it yourself! FYI, I've never had my car completely detailed 100% here, but they did do a spot detail on my front bumper and they did a great job! more

While Divisdero is a pretty good operation for getting a car wash, they have damaged outside mirrors on two occasions that I'm aware of. Once to my car and once to a friends car. The damage wasn't immediately noticable, so in both cases we didn't notice the damage until later, after we left. Of course, they denied everything and there wasn't really any recourse. However, you'll notice that there is now someone that video tapes all the cars as they come in (they didn't always have this). They walk around each car with a video camera. I doubt they would have someone doing this unless they were frequently damaging cars. So, make sure you fully inspect the outside of your car before you leave. Especially anything that sticks out, like side mirrors. more

While it may look like chaos, this is a pretty well run operation that very efficiently washes your car (inside and out). It worth the time and hassle of washing your own car (unless of course you like doing it yourself). For the uninitiated, pull in, leave the car running, tell the attendant what kind of the wash you would like, go inside to pay (keep the receipt), and then wait for your car to come out of the tunnel. Once it does, a small army of people will wipe it down. When it's ready, hand the person your receipt and you're good to go. more
