So much fun! 11/14/2005

My niece and I always have a blast when we go the the Children's Museum. There are tons of things to do, see and talk about. It is very 'hands on' and I think that is what makes this place so much fun. When we go, we're usually there for about 2 hours. Admission is reasonable. I was excited to learn that the Children's Museum will be relocating to the Gateway Shopping Center within the next year. Their new space is supposed to have state of the art exhibits and will be in a great location. I can't wait! If you've never been here, definitely make an effort to go! You won't regret it. It will be a day of fun that your kids will be talking about. more

Great fun for the kids 8/20/2005

I remember coming to this museum as a kid and wanting to stay for hours on end.. It's a very hands on type of museum, and the kids learn so much by interacting and doing things here, it's amazing. You can come back time and time again, and there will still be plenty to do here. I wish that it were bigger and had better funding, as I'm sure that they could take it and make it even better than it already is more

Fun place to take the grandkids 8/19/2005

The Children's Museum of Utah is fun great place for kids to explore parts of science. They can "dig" dinosaur bones, play in a truck, play grocery store, etc. The kids can run freely and it's easy for parents and/or grandparents to keep up with them. It's a learning experience and a reasonable price for entry. more

Fun for your Children. 8/10/2005

I decided to take my Toddler to the Childrens museum a couple of months ago. There was a promotion going on and I had never been there. Needless to say my daughter absolutely loves the place. They have life size and realistic, if not real, vehicles inside. My daughter played inside and airplane cockpit, a Semi Truck and a Milk Truck. There is a mock grocery store where kids can pretend they are employees and they run the food items over bar code readers and play with pretend money and cash registers. The day I went there were tons of children there. My daughter had a great time interacting with all of them. Normal Admission is $5.00 and well worth it. By the end of our visit my daughter was tired and asleep in my arms. Definitely check it out. Its great to watch your kids interact in there. more
