New washing machine. 11/27/2011

Had to purchase a new washing machine. Good price and good product especially when you consider the warranty that comes with it. The only compliant I have is we were told the machine was a 5.3 cu. ft capacity machine but when I look the machine up online it says it is a 4.5 cu. ft capacity machine. So I feel like I was misled on the size. None the less the machine is great and still looks bigger than my old one. more

Purchasing at Dick Van Dyke Appliance World was fine, it was the problems I had after we had purchased it that was the problem. There were some maintenance issues, and it was going to take too long to get my parts. RESPONSE FROM Dick Van Dyke Appliance World: We do apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused due to the unavailability of parts from the manufacture. We reviewed the situation surrounding your appliance repair and discovered that since your appliance was newer the manufacture didn't have the necessary parts available to repair the appliance. It appears that we were able to acquire the parts outside of our normal channels to speed up the repair process. We will continue to strive to meet your expectations in the future. John S. I buy everything from them. 11/11/2011

I had trouble with my dishwasher for one year. I had to have a service man come every month, and every other week sometimes. I'm happy since Dick Van Dyke Appliance World replaced it. I'm happy with them. I buy everything from them. I'm very satisfied with my new dishwasher, and thank goodness too, because the holidays are here! more

They have great ads and they live up to them!\r \r I have had to call Dick Van Dyke for both a dryer problem and to replace a built in microwave - they were at my house the day I called and solved the problem, for a lot less money than I thought I was going to have to come up with. I think they are great! more

Great repair service! 1/6/2007

I called them a few months ago in desperation when our fridge gave out. They have a very small ($15!) service fee for coming to your house to evaluate the problem. And if I remember correctly, if they can't fix it, that can be used as a credit toward the purchase of a new appliance at the store. The repair guy was nice and was very quick at finding the problem. With parts and labor, we spent less than $100 to fix the fridge - MUCH cheaper than buying new! And it was fixed in just a few hours. I would highly recommend calling them before you go out and buy a new appliance. more
