I am not a customer of Dewey Pest Control but want to warn the community of a confrontatation I had with either the owner or an employee. I was walking my dog on the public sidewalk in front of Dewey when as I approached near their driveway and a man who had just locked their gate, (was on a Sunday) pulled out and blocked the sidewalk so I could not get past. He jumped out of his truck yelling at me and approached me in a threatening manner. Being alone and a woman I just stopped and didn't know what to do. He yelled and ask if I used a doggie bag and I said yes. He said, "I want to see it RIGHT NOW". I said that my dog had already used the bag and he yelled "I want to see it then". I told him that i had already disposed of it and he said he wanted to know where I disposed of it and he did not believe me. I told him of a trash container down the street that I used. He said he wanted this to stop and it had better stop NOW! When he jumped in his truck and speeded away, I went back to my home and told my husband who immediately walked down to Dewey. It was all closed up. My husband came home and called the police and the police did come to my home and take a report. The police said that the grass by the sidewalk is owned by the city and Dewey had no business with that part of the area. Let alone threaten and talk to a woman whom was alone and blocked my path.. This man is not someone I would want to be in my home, I have no idea what would make someone act this way but I was very shaken up and now I don't feel safe even walking in my neighborhood. I don't think a man should treat a woman in a threatening manner this way.
