This was my first expereince with Destino Spa and I booked an appointment for a facial. My esthetician was Julie and she was great! The ambience of the spa was delightful and really inviting. I would highly recommend it to anyone. more

Paige is the best waxer I've ever been to. You don't have to be nervous with her. She's quick and as painfree as possible! She makes you feel so comfortable and does an awesome job. Outstanding! 4/12/2008

Great place. The ambiance is first-rate with soothing sights and smells. Though A bit on the expensive side, but service is good. Customer service was amazing. Facials are a real treat, a relaxing and thoroughly therapeutic holiday for the soul. I would definitely return. more

Move over LaBelle, Hello Destino Spa. What a hidden SHANGRI-LA!!! Amazing customer service and my masseuse Sam was out of this world. The massage I got was extremely therapeutic and I have to say, I forgot all about my problems under his spell of his magical hands. A must VISIT spa. I felt like I was somewhere else...the ambiance just takes you away. The place was so clean and friendly. Worth every dime. I highly recommend Destino. Forget LaBelle. I have been wasting my money at the wrong spa. Destino has now acquired a new regular client. Request for SAM with the magical hands. Pros: Ambience just takes your breath away more

Best in the BAY AREA 11/10/2007

I can understand the misgivings when you see that this tiny spa is next to an instrument store...but this place is a slice of heaven!!! I have been to a lot of bay area spas (rhymes with la fell, and rhymes with altercourse bay, rhymes with body feeds...) and this is absolutely the best! After one of my facials here, I got carded at the grocery store (I'm 39)! The eyelash and eyebrow tints here are glorious! Paige is incredible. I also had the most awesome full body massage here! When the masseuse turned me onto my back, she elevated my head and put a warm poltice on my face...so no nasty creaselines across my face when it was done AND my sinuses felt open! This is also a fantastic place to buy lil' presents for the women in your life. Cute slippers, lotions, jewelry! Great package! more

Needless to say, the kinks never got worked out. I also had to leave early due to an infant at home and wanted to come back to do my facial and they wanted to change an extra 50% plus the full price. Oh heck NO. The Spa ?decor? had a lot to be desired and I wasn?t overly impressed with the steam room. It Looked like your average shower. more

It has taken me ten years to find a local masseuse who can use enough pressure for her treatment to be therapeutic, yet no so deep as to be painful. Charina is fantastic and so are her knowledge and techniques--she asked me what my trouble spots were and I told her the main ones, but she found the others intuitively. Worth every last penny. more
