Brunch 8/18/2010

GREAT PLACE! Me and my boyfriend grabbed lunch here on my break. Such a cute setting! Lots of food served with both of our meals for a great price. and wonderful service. Its a must, corner of hillhurts and prospect. Try it out. more

amazing experience 8/18/2010

Me and a few of my friends went in today to grab lunch at the Desert Rose and it was great! I am shocked I haven't heard of this place before. The location is walking distance to all the hipest strips in Los Feliz. The service was great and the Owner was extremly fiendly. My girlfriends and I started out with the Brie appetizer which was TO DIE FOR. I ordered the speciel, (Ravioli of the Day) best ravioli I have ever had. Not only great food, relaxing yet classy/urban outside patio but just straight up good energy, and. . . THE PRICES ARE UNREAL!!!! I checked out the beautifull full bar, found out that on weekends they play live jazz music. I will defenitly be back here with my girls for great drinks and dinner. On top of this, my waitress showed me the i brunch & vegan menu. Looks great. Salmon & crab Beniditcs, my fav. If you love dinning surrounded by roses, the freedom to sit and enjoy yourself as long as you want and a check that is not killing your wallet. . then this is the place for you. more

Great food, fun ambiance! 11/13/2009

This place was great! I went with a group of friends, and all of the food was authentic Lebanese/Middle Eastern, and fresh... They have live music and an outdoor patio, great for either a date or large groups. The owner made sure we had a good time, and I will definitely be returning when I'm on that side of town! Great place for a gropu dinner or for a romantic date 11/3/2009

I went there with a group of friends and everything was amazing. We started with the house made hummus and pita bread which was probably the best combination of hummus's that I've had in awhile. Then we all shared the crispy goat cheese salad and if you love cheese, then you'll love the crispy goat cheese (so amazing)! Then I got the roasted eggplant soup which had a falafel in the middle (which was spicy...YUM). I had never had eggplant soup and I think that this was one of my most favorite dishes of the night. Then we all shared the fire-roasted vegetables which were very flavorful. For my entree, I ordered the chicken & beef kebab plate. I'm not a huge ""meat"" person and both were cooked perfectly and the side pita was a great combination. And for desert, we all shared the warm chocolate lava cake which was so creamy and full of amazing-ness! Overall, this place was great and I would highly recommend it for a group dinner or for a romantic date. The ambiance was perfect...great decor, live jazz music playing in the background and a fun crowd. Delicious Food & Great Service 10/22/2009

I went last night to Desert Rose and it was fabulous. The service was great and the food was even better. We had everything from the hummus to the kabobs and everything was delicious. The vegan spicy eggplant soup was probably my favorite. In addition to great food, they have a full bar and a impressive beer/wine list. I would definitely return. more

This restaurant was AMAZING! The food was sensational and the service was outstanding. Love the great selection of beer on tap and the setting was so relaxing and fun!!! The hummus was some of the best I've had. Can't wait to go back!!! Pros: Great food and better setting!!! more
