On the top ten list of things a guy does not want to do on a Saturday off (when it's 85 and sunny) is pick out flowers for his upcoming exit party from the bachelors world........yes ladies, it's true, I'm getting married. Sorry...........But any way...... Saturday, sunny, Ballard Blossom and a promise I'm not getting out of. Sound hopeless? more

I have been using Ballard Blossom for years and have NEVER been disappointed! They are very easy to deal with, always on time and the flowers seem to last a week or more. I wouldn't go anywhere else! more

Ballard Blossom created the bouquets, corsages and boutineers for my wedding. As evidenced by my 5-star rating, the experience was superb from beginning to end. We met with the bridal florist (Jamie Stine) a couple of months in advance. I brought pictures of bouquets I liked, but was otherwise clueless about the particular flowers I wanted. I told her I wanted blue and white in the bouquets with green accents. Jamie knew what would be in season (and therefore cheaper) and guided us in picking out the right flower combinations. Jame took her time showing us lots of pictures and instilled in us trust that she knew what she was doing. She gave us the caveat that if certain flowers we had decided on together were unavailable or sickly looking on day-of, that she and her team would substitute with other flowers within our color scheme. The end result was absolutely wonderful! The flowers photographed beautifully and stayed fresh throughout the entire day. Every detail (down to the silk wrapping on the stems) was carefully executed. Jamie even labeled all the bouquets, boutineers and corsages with the names of the individuals they belonged to so that the groom's didn't get mixed up with the groomsman's. The sales experience was totally low-pressure (which can be rare in the wedding services industry!). No one tried to up-sell us on more expensive flowers, and the staff was totally fine when I called a few days after our consultation to get rid of one of the arrangements (we decided we didn't need it). They didn't pressure us to get delivery either. The flowers were available for pick-up on the morning of the wedding which saved us the delivery charge. They have a parking lot directly east of the building which made it super easy. Overall great experience. I'd recommend them to anyone planning a wedding. more

I've ordered bouquets several times via their website without problem. In fact once I clicked submit too soon and when I phoned the shop to edit my order there was not one delay or excuse or hint of attitude. So I was delighted to get their notice of their Christmas Open House. Probably should've remembered that the night before while I was accruing alcohol points to reach my hungover goal. Yep, I walked slowly around Ballard Blossom come Sunday morn cursing my want to drink that pint of beer in front of my face. I should get water when I'm thristy! But nooooooooooooooooooooooooo ... uh ... But Ballard Blossom! Yes, a very lovely shop with some very patient women working and creating. There were several tables for demonstrating how to make a wreath or swag (hehheh, swag). And as I adore the living Christ (hehheh, Christ) outta of Christmas my weakened condition could not deter me from purchasing a Santa mat for the front porch, or a jeweled bird for the tree or an ornament of old-fahsioned keys clustered ... HEY! Oh well, they are pretty and I am part crow, ooooooooooooh shiny! more

They charged my credit card 4 weeks in advanced. But chose to deliver the flowers at the last minute of the work day.They should not have accepted more orders than they can deliver on any particular day, regardless of the event, otherwise they needed to hire more drivers in advance or used other companies like FedEx and UPS as a backup. more

When I lived in Seattle, I used Ballard Blossom anytime I needed flowers delivered anywhere in the area. I recommended them to my sister for her wedding and her flowers were stunning. Now that I live in New Mexico, I still use Ballard Blossom when I deliver flowers to old friends and co-workers. I use them because I know the arrangements will be beautiful and they will be delivered on time, with care. They've also got a super fun selection of gifts so I love going in to shop around when I'm in town. I recommend them to everyone I know and will continue using them as my Seattle florist. more

We have gotten flowers from Ballard Blossom for a long time and we are consistently pleased with the arrangements. When we visit the store, instead of calling in, I hardly ever leave without finding some goodie for myself or for a gift for a friend. I love the wonderful floral smell of the store. more

Ballard Blossom was amazing! I had just gotten accepted to medical school and, as always, was very busy and still wanted to thank my advisors. Ballard Blossom is open early, I went in and they put together three beautiful bouquets AND found me great cards and included the gift cards I had bought! The flowers aren't cheap (but are any flowers today?) but they're beautiful!!! They have an extensive online selection that includes gift baskets, vases, and plants. more

I was very impressed with Ballard Blossom, they did an exceptional job for me. I live in Idaho, my boyfriend was having surgery in Seattle and I wanted to send him flowers. They were unable to deliver the arrangement the first time because of room confusion with the hospital, but to my surprise they went above and beyond to make a special delivery to ensure he recieved them that day! This personal service is what makes them #1 in the Seattle area! Thanks so much! I'd never written a review before, but they definetely deserved it! more

I usually like to pickup my flowers from farmers markets or at the Pike Place Market. However, these flowers are usually just for around the house. During special events I love to use a professional store with a wide variety of selection and Ballard Blossom is my favorite in North Seattle.\r \r During valentines day for example, I was running behind and they helped me with a wonderful bouquet. It was not generic and the same old roses. Also, they did not overcharge because of the holiday.\r \r I've used the store for delivery of flowers to a friend's special occasion and it was timely and accurate.
