Unfortunately my second stay with this hotel was not as good an experience as I had 3 years ago when I stayed there. I was double charged for my room and management was not responsive. When I arrived at check-in I was told they could not find my reservation but they had a room so it was not a problem. I told the clerk at that point that I had AAA and what the rate was quoted. He assured me that they would honor that so I took the room (They gave us the room right in the Lobby hallway, lots of lobby noise throughout the evening.) Upon check out I had been charged the standard rate not the AAA discount I had reserved originally - the clerk at that time did give me the 10% AAA discount but that was still $20 higher than I had reserved the room for originally. I didn't have time to argue so I paid it. In a few weeks I checked my credit card statements to find that not only was I charged upon check-out but I had also been charged for my original reservation as if I was a No-Show. Unfortunately at check-out I paid with a different credit card than my original reservation, which was completely confusing to the Accounting Clerk I called to speak to. After no luck with her I emailed the Manager - he also could not comprehend that I had been charged on 2 different credit cards and requested I send him both statements. I did as he requested and never heard from him again after 3 additional emails and 2 phone calls to him asking for resolution. I finally gave up and sent all the correspondence I had with the hotel over to the Credit Card company and they removed the ""no show"" charge from my account. I would not recommend this hotel, not due to the mix up on the overcharge because these things happen sometimes but, due to the fact that the Management never had the courtesy to follow up on the matter.
